Has several uses
I guess these are used to poach eggs, but I purchased them to melt my wax in for hair removal. After looking at prices of wax warmers, they were overpriced and seemed messy. I used these little silicone boats along with a candle warmer to melt my wax and it works perfectly. You can use as little as needed, I only use it for my facial hair. Yes ladies, you can look forward to a mustache and beard as you mature. What the heck? I only need a tablespoon or two and this is just the right size. You can even reheat leftover wax or just throw it away. I'm sure they work well for poaching eggs too.

Makes perfect steamed eggs in twelve minutes; but is a bit messy if you do not oil bowls first.
Great for making steamed eggs. I use avocado or coconut oil to prepare the inside, then crack an egg into each. I bring water to a boil, and gently insert two eggs bowls into water. Heat on low with a lid for twelve minutes. Remove from heat using wings one bowl at a time, and hold wings together to pour off extra water on top. Turn egg bowl over, and turn inside out to eject onto serving dish. Perfect two streamed eggs well done to ensure no bacteria contamination. Beats using a bunch of vinegar and attempting to keep egg whites from spreading into water when poaching. Great egg bowl. Silicone is easy to clean up, and very little mess on the sauce pan and lid.

Foolproof Results!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you. It's unbelievable how the small things in life can raise the attitude.I've spent so much time trying other methods of cooking poached eggs (swirling boiling water with vinegar, straining the eggs before poaching them, etc.).This is so simple. Swab a bit of oil in the cup using the silicon brush, drop the eggs in the cups, set the eggs in about an inch of boiling water, cover, and 5 minutes later... perfect poached eggs!!!! I use it 2-3 times a week! The Best Purchase of 2025 so far!!! It's the perfect product because the price is right and it works EXACTLY as advertised.

Don’t put in dishwasher
Ran these through the dishwasher and they absorbed the smell of the soap. Have twice tried using them and the eggs still taste like soap even after soaking them in hot water. Also, these don’t poach the eggs, which I knew before ordering. They steam the eggs, which is fine if you want to enjoy a poached egg texture without cleaning egg residue out of your pan.

One of my favorite kitchen tools!!!
These cups are amazing! I love them. I can melt butter in them for individual dipping dishes for lobster. The poached eggs drop right out of them without breaking apart so table presentation at breakfast for company is pleasing. I'm so glad I bought these!

These Silicone Egg Poachers Do The Trick!
I had been looking a long time and tried a few methods, with unsuccessful results. With these silicone cups, I just boil some water in a covered pot (or a rice/vegetable steamer), lower them in, cover with lid and cook 4-5 minutes. Easy! Before I crack an egg into each cup, I spray the inside with cooking spray. Nothing sticks and the cooked eggs slide out every time. Oh, and if you’re like me and hate peeling egg shells, it works great for cooking hard boiled eggs when making egg salad. You just cook a few minutes longer, cool and chop or mash. (Wouldn’t use for deviled eggs though, where retaining the egg shape is more relevant to the dish).
