These were perfect. I'm 5' 7" with 32" waist and the mediums fit perfectly both in terms of my waist and the compression material. The compression is thinner, soft, but not too tight and not too loose. I have a pair of Under Armor compression swim trunks and the medium size compression is way too tight, so I bought these to see if they'd be better. Which they are. So much so that I ordered another pair. The zippers on the pockets work well, and they dry out as expected. The only downside is that these hold a lot of air in them when you get into the water. Good value for the money.

I have bought multiple pairs of swim trunks in different brands and never found a pair that fit, looked, and felt just right until these. I love the compression liner. It fits tight, but not too tight and feels comfortable. What needs to be supported is supported. The length is just right. Not too long, not too short. The drawstring on the waistband actually tightens the band and holds it in place (I have some trunks that the drawstring doesn't really do anything). I don't have to worry about these shifting around a lot in the water.I had to buy a size lower than Amazon suggested. I have a 31-inch waist and Amazon suggested medium, which I tried and they were a bit too loose. Small ended up being a near-perfect fit. These trunks look really nice too. I love this US flag design and color and I like the look and feel of the fabric as well. I will definitely be getting another pair for my next beach trip!

The spandex underneath was a real game changer. Haven't bought swim trunks in decades. Nice to see this added feature to help prevent your shorts from falling off while swimming.
