love it! all metal, works great, it needs to be tightened very strongly but once it is and you've adjusted everything it is great and my laptop is heavy and 16inches with no movement. Doesn't slide around because of rubberish grippy stuff for laptop and desk sliding. Theres a bunch of options on amazon and i was lucky to get the right one first try.- The one downside for someone is it can be tipped backwards easily but not easily side to side or forward. So if you have a drop behind your desk, a pulled cord could send your nice laptop to the floor, this might be risky without it being clamped/velcrowed/bolted down etc. This issue i'm sure is universal to all these style stands in terms of it going backwards. I have a wall behind my desk so it cant fall so this style is perfect for me as is. Its not hard to find a clamp etc to apply to it and your desk to solve that i'm sure if you do need that.Anyways this was a good choice and you'll likely feel the same way, my neck and back appreciate the good posture having it up high. If not u can return it easy.

I got one of these for work and liked it so much, I got a second one for my home office.This is a great laptop stand if you need to set up your space for a specific height/angle but don't need to adjust often. (The bolts tighten okay with the included wrench, but you wouldn't want to do it every day.) But once it's set up, the stand is sturdy and has stayed exactly where I want it.Again, perfect!

I am in an online master's program, and after two terms, I realized how much I needed a stand for my laptop. I wanted something that could be adjusted to practically any height, was durable, and didn't take up a ton of space. When I found this, I thought I hit the jackpot--great price, sturdy, great reviews! I was right. This is a great stand! I wasn't sure at first how good it would be because it kept slowly lowering, but once I tightened the bolts, it stayed in place with no problem.If it's so great, why 4 stars and not 5? One of the many reasons I wanted to get a stand was to keep my laptop from overheating. The laptop fan vent sits on the upper horizontal support, making it harder for the computer to cool down. I'll admit it, the vent for my computer sits in a weird spot. It doesn't get nearly as warm as it did before I purchased the stand, but the fan still runs high. It's not as much of a deal, I wish I could give 4.5 stars/5 because it is so awesome!I have noticed a huge decrease in back pain, better posture, better camera angle for Zoom meetings, and happier wrist joints (now that I'm using a keyboard). Highly recommend!

I was using this for my MBA and it held the weight fine. My wife stole it for her PC.

Holds my 15 inch laptop with no problem. Looks good on my desk and provides extra space. Hasn't budged position even with the constant on and off.

Long story short, I love the size and lift of this. But the lift don't matter if it's CONSTANTLY FALLING!!!I get so freaking annoyed because no matter how tight you tighten the nuts, I can close my laptop and the entire stand falls several inches. Then it takes 30 seconds to a minute to get it set back up and staying. But something boops it or nothing at all touches it and it'll fall again.Plus, it can have just one corner fall and suddenly your laptops at an angle and not seated flat/properly on the stand.I really really want this thing to work but gosh it's not great.I'm going to try replacing the nuts with wing nuts so I can adjust them with my fingers and maybe it'll help elevate the usefulness of this product. (Pun intended.)

I have multiple stands now because they work so well. I have one for the home office as well as my work office! They make my day so much easier! Easy to assemble and adjust! Love them.
