On the bottom of the motor, where it connects to the power supply, there is a red dot. When the positive pole of the power supply is connected to the electrode piece where the red dot is located, the motor will turn clockwise. When the negative pole of the power supply is connected to the electrode piece where the red dot is located, the motor will rotate counterclockwise.

Q: Will reversing this motor (using relay to switch polarity) damage it?

You can reverse the motor just reversing the connecting wires.
