It's not cheap but I do prefer the feel of this arm in the hand and they way the trem system feels in use with it

Not as good as you’d think.
The problem with this tremolo arm is that it’s far too light, to the extent that you get that “trem flutter” effect (that Vai and Satriani particularly use) when when you don’t want it, i.e. when simply plucking a string.And I don’t really see any advantages over a stock tremolo arm, so my advice is to stick to what works. This product is an invention seeking a use case.
