Dogs use it!
It works great! We have two dogs that use it multiple times a day. Sometimes running straight into it. The door swings easily and locks back into place. It was easy to install minus cutting the hole in the door. It also looks great!Oh, and this was also the dogs first experience with a doggy door. They were timid at first but got the hang of it.

Almost there
This door is great, good instructions, very detailed and the magnetic close function is good. I use this for my 80lb husky and got the L version. My only gripe with this door is that the hinges are made of plastic and that might work on a smaller dog but this will be a matter of time before this hinge fails. This would otherwise be a bulletproof door.UPDATE:The seller reached out to me for my feedback and they heard me out loud and clear and they stand behind their product. They sent me a new and improved door with metal hinges. With this new and improved door I am positive this will last me for a long while. The hinges definitely will not be the weak point any longer. Thank you so much to the seller and their company for standing behind their product and taking care of their customers. A+++

Seems good quality for the price; instructions are an interpretive dance
UPDATE January 2025: Door is still functioning perfectly fine. The brush weatherstrip finally fell off last week, so it lasted about 16 months with all kinds of weather and two large-ish dogs running in and out of it multiple times per day to bark at every loud vehicle that drove by. Replaceable for about $8 with a trip to the hardware store. I have the plastic hinge version and while the door is dirty, it is still solid. I did slightly overestimate the strength of the magnets: I find I need to tap it closed to make sure the magnets catch if there’s more than a breeze. I don’t think I’d install it in a door between my house and the exterior, for both insulation and security purposes, but it’s a great choice for an exterior door out of an attached garage.Bought this to install in an old wooden door with horizontal recessed panels to give dogs (45lb and 100lb) easy access to garage for rainy days. Larger dog is about 24” at the shoulder while smaller dog is about 20” at the shoulder, so I bought the large size to accommodate them both. Despite the lack of detail in the instructions, the install went fairly well and took about an hour on my more complex door: it would have been much quicker if I could have used my circular saw like a track saw and just used a saber saw to clean up the corners, but I didn’t have a long enough board to use as a guide which hindered the whole process. The good:-Plastic frame is slightly flexible, but sturdy; this allows you to be a little inaccurate or cut a bit narrow to close the side gaps-Magnets are strong enough to hold the weight of the door and resist being blown open; another brand I tried couldn’t hold the weight of the door, let alone a light breeze-felt weatherstripping helps keep wind, rain, smoke, and bugs out-pin locked plastic back panel to deny access-aesthetics! It’s paintable if you want and the frame is substantial, though the “tunnel” area may not be as smooth on thicker doors. The bad (mostly minor gripes):-no weatherstrip at top of door, so no protection on 25% of the surface-hinges are plastic and I don’t see replacement doors; Longevity could be an issue-only one set of hardware: keeps cost down, but if your door isn’t 2.16” thick, then you will (like most people) have screws protruding significantly; I plan to cut mine off so my dogs will keep their eyeballs-there was a set of 4 wood screws whose purpose I haven’t figured out since the long screws pull the halves together: this would have been nice to mention in the…-Instructions! They’re more basic than basic and have some translation and unit errors. For instance, they tell you to measure your dog, but not how or why that measurement matters for door placement. The units in the measurement step are wrong: most large dogs are 10-15 inches from floor to chest, not 10-15 centimeters. They translated “jigsaw” as “chainsaw” which was a funny thought, though the picture of the tool is correct at least. Some of the other translations are a little confusing—in one step, “firmly” was translated as “family”.Lastly, because of the type of door I installed this in, I had to improvise some supports under the frame on the top edge. Two oversized nuts and a large washer on each side support the frame securely, but a short length of PVC would have worked as well. I will probably have to use expanding foam or flexible foam weatherstrip to fill the gaps between the panels and frame if it becomes necessary as the weather turns cold. A weatherstrip at the top of the door would have made this just about perfect for this price, but overall, at this point I would recommend this door without hesitation, and hopefully it lasts a long time.

Very very disappointed and now anxious!
I was happy to try this new type of dog door in new home. Previously had two dog doors in doors with the plastic flap. Worked wonderfully with three dogs and two cats all figuring it out. My new house i needed the dog door in a wall and this door seemed liked a great option. Handyman installed a month ago. Dog did well with it although there is a gap on bottom where wall was. Last night I am outside with my dog and I see the plastic flap laying on the ground. I looked and the plastic had broken on both top corners. I was so distressed by this as unknown if piece can be replaced and it’s only been in use for one month. My dog is 50 pounds and this door should have been able to handle a dog going in and out. Instead it’s worthless it appears and I am going to have to order another door and pay handyman again. And finding a same size door is almost impossible. Don’t do what I did. Trying to save money and give a new product a chance. I regret this and have asked for refund or replacement with no response as yet. Already ordered the type with a plastic flap as has lasted 7 years already at our old house. Anxious and sad this had happened. And so is my dog Maggie. She loves going outside.

Could be better
Overall, I like this dog door, and my dog really enjoys the see-through flap. It’s a nice feature that makes it more inviting for pets. However, the locking mechanism is a major flaw. The small plastic pins meant to secure the door in place both got stuck the first time I tried to use them and immediately broke off. I had to drill them out and make new pins myself, which was a hassle.Once you’ve installed it, the last thing you want to do is remove it, send it back, and wait for a replacement. So, I’ll just use this one until it falls apart and then get a different brand. It works for now, but I wouldn’t buy it again unless they improve the locking system.
