Better than I had hoped. Great size; good sound; Easy to work. Love it

I haven't been able to find a boom box that kicks like they used to - but the Panasonic RX-D550 comes close. At 20 watts it has more volume than most newer players and is not near as big as the older ones. The bass is good, but it isn't as prominent and as loud as the older boxes. It's still decent though and overall, the sound is good. The remote works well too. I would have given it 4 1/2 stars but it wasn't possible.

Panasonic sells this in Canada only. In the event that you have any problems after the return window closes, Panasonic will not repair it under warranty. Mine has broken with the "F61" error code and does not turn on and I can't get a repair.

Nice sounding machine. The only negative is that there was no button for continuous play for the CDs. The last stereo I had from Panasonic had it, and it was a great feature. Other than that, it is working real nice for now. I will mostly use this machine for CDs, as I like old school.

I was trying to replace a Panasonic CD player that had extremely good sound. This item did not. I was charged a huge restocking fee for an inferior product. Be careful if you order this as you may get the one I returned. I would like ALL my money back.

I bought this product to use as a radio in my home office specifically buying it because the description said it was an AM/FM radio. IT IS NOT THE RADIO IS FM ONLY!!!
