Good addition to Thomas track
Fits well with our Thomas the Train track . My Grandson loves playing with this

Solid engine. Goes fast. No reverse
Solid construction and goes fast. Doesn't stay on track as well those engines with a third set of wheels. the magnets dragged so I hot glued them in place. No backward button. Just one button turns it on and goes forward. But for $13 you can't really go wrong.

The express train is definitely an express train
This is a fast train lapping all the other trains on the track and sometimes pushing them if they’re going to slow. You can connect other trains to it. The tunnel makes noises when the train passes through and it’s rechargeable which is nice!

Lots of fun
The media could not be loaded. We have a lot of wooden tracks and the boys (age 13 and 9) had a lot of fun making tracks for this and another battery operated train to ride the rails.

BUYER BEWARE!
No batteries included, nor type of batteries needed explained.Lousy instructions.Definitely, not worth the trouble: Returning product for refund.

Great in theory, slow train, quick battery drain
Our four year old loves the automatic train but we have found even with a new battery, the train is quite slow (especially if it needs to go over a "bridge" or "hill"). The train battery also doesn't last super long (maybe a week with moderate [<1 hour a day] of usage). Maybe we got a defective one. I love the idea but the execution is just ok.

Week shaft, not for childs
The media could not be loaded. The nerved shaft only lasted one day, the only positive point is that you can move the gear to the other side and it might last another day. It is not childproof. Spoiler alert the tunnel is female female...
