I've used this paracord to span and stretched out a shade fabric for the backyard.It's been over a month I still have tension on my sun shade. No visible damage on the paracord fro UV rays.Knots are simple to to tie and undo with 1/4"

Works great for bedroom
Used for.. activités in the bedroom. Worked great long enough I was able to get three lengths of rope out of one bundle. Melted end with lighter and it held. Very durable

Seems strong and good quality for the price. I got neon green to join wheel chocks. Tied with a bowman knot. Perfect setup. 3/8 rope.

Probably good for most people's needs. The price helps that.
When it's NEW: it has less than 1/4 of the tensile strength of a Dacron (Polyester) rope of same diameter: (250lb for 3/8" dia of this rope vs 1,000lb for 1/4" dia Dacron) - which is much more UV resistant as well. But it's lightweight and it FLOATS! This rope is described as being made of "Polypropylene Nylon Poly". I hope the nylon part is the outer jacket. I bought this for erecting a couple shortwave radio antennas. I learned the differences later. So I'll get a 500ft spool of the 3/16" 750lb rated Dacron and keep this for tying down loads. The 3/8" size is a nice general purpose size. Great price!
