This is an honest review from Chicago IL, Sep 2024.I am BLOW AWAY by how good this glass cutter works. The ability of this cutter is so great that I am taking my time to write a full review, AND I will talk about the negative reviews here.1. One lady posted a video and a very bad review, but I must humbly say that she made several mistakes. The tool that she was trying to use is for installing and removing the BLADE, not the fence. The blade installs almost the same way that a grinder blade installs. Look at my 4th picture2. She also talked about the fence not being tight enough. To adjust the fence tightness, all you need is a regular allen key. See the 2nd and 3rd photos. You can adjust either side by simply loosening the allen screw and sliding the head. You must make sure that the red handle is snapped all the way down to ensure that it wont move. I align each cut with a small machinist square. See the 5th photo (the rusty thing at the bottom)3. I carefully watched ALL of the example videos that are included here on Amazon, they are more than good enough to figure out how to use this correctly. I set the speed at about 60%, then start the cut. Make sure that you push your piece into the blade fully, until you cant go any further, THEN start to rotate you bottle. This thing is so easy to use that I did NOT have to use the included roller jig, I cut only using the fence.If your fence is not perfectly aligned, it doesnt really matter, there is plenty of "wiggle room" during your cut.Look at the last photo. It cuts so cleanly that it did NOT even damage the label. I have been cutting bottles with the old fashioned style jigs for years and NEVER, got this clean of a cut.Look at the first photo, I did not even have to sand the cut afterwards. The blade included is AWESOME. It works for cutting, and also beveling/cleaning up an edge. I grabbed some of my old cut bottles and cleaned them up with the side of the blade like sand paper.The first thing I cut was a Cantena Malbec (delicious) wine bottle, the second cut was a salsa jar. No issues at all.I am so glad that I took a chance on this cutter, it has FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. The negative reviews here are not fair at all, total user error.5 stars

The media could not be loaded. *This is my 3rd entry so that I can tell you that even though the expiration for a refund on my SECOND Glass Cutter had expired before it broke down after 5 wine bottles had been cut, they went ahead and refunded me the full amount anyways. I'm so great full, thank you. I don't care that I didn't get any feedback with it, no apology for having 2 separate purchases being bad experiences, or anything of the sort. Just a notice of the refund. I really do wish for this company to address and fix the issues. I can't find anything like this anywhere, and when it was working - it was absolutely a dream come true!The first one I bought was missing parts. Sent it back and ordered another one. Big mistake!The second one Quit Working After 5 Wine Bottles and the Return for Refund has expired. I'm absolutely in tears over this!!!

****REVIEW UPDATE****After posting my initial review (below) Customer Service contacted me immediately and began troubleshooting their product. After a couple messages back and forth they informed me that they were sending me a replacement machine aa they did not want to interrupt my work! Within days I had a new saw and off I go!Love the product and VERY impressed with the customer service provided! Changed my rating to 5 Star!I purchased this saw in July 2024 and have absolutely loved it. I’ve cut countless bottles until now. I changed the blade, which I’ve done in the past but all of a sudden it is not cutting properly. It is chipping the bottles to where I can’t even use it. We’ve taken it apart, tried reinstalling the new blade several times but it is not fixing the problem.I cannot locate any customer service contact information so I thought I’d post this review in hopes of finding out more information for the company.The saw has worked great up until this point…

I cut several bottles and it worked fantastic. I tried a couple days later to cut a few more bottles and it wouldn’t cut through the glass. When the bottle touches the blade it stops cutting. I have verified that the blade is on tight and that bottle is not being pushed too fast. There is nothing else like this and if it works the way it was when I first tried it is five stars and awesome. But right now I struggle to even give three stars and feel like I just wasted $200. If I can’t get it working again I am regretfully returning.

I absolutely love it. This glass cutter is way better than the others! The only complaint I have is that I wanted to be able to cut a wine bottle long ways and I can’t seem to figure out how to do that with this particular glass cutter. But other than that, I love it!

This saw is AWESOME. If you're looking at this, you've searched for saws to cut glass or tile, and this one comes up. You think - hmmm . . . that price seems low compared with others, maybe it's just junk? But you would be VERY wrong. This little saw is amazing. It is compact and easy to move around, taking up very little space compared with much larger, more expensive saws that are a production just to set up and are a bit terrifying for some people. But not this one! It cuts very well and is easy to fill with water. It uses standard smaller blades. It has variable speed adjust, which is handy. It also comes with tools, guard options and good clear instructions. And if you have a couple questions, this seller is the BEST online seller that I've ever encountered - friendly, helpful, responsive and fast. What a great experience, and looking forward to using this little super-saw for all kinds of things in the future. SIX STARS!
