I hope this works as well for your dog as it has for mine! Better than gold.
I am so lucky to have an amazing dog in my life. He is a terrier mix, about 35lbs, looks like Benji. He is at least 14 (we've had him 13+ years, but didn't know his age when we got him, other than young adult). When I decided to start the cognitive powder, my dog had developed anxiety, was having accidents in the house, and his physical condition was declining. I figured it was worth a shot to invest in this product after reading the reviews. We started to notice a big difference after just a few weeks, and fast forward over a year later and no one believes me when I say my dog is a senior. He is still an old man, but has a pep in his step, will once again run around with joyful abandon, hikes for several hours, no more accidents, much less anxiety, and he just seems happier all around. I work for a vet, and did not tell anyone that I was trying this because I wanted to see if they noticed a difference. They cannot believe how great he is doing. Is this the same dog?! I know that sounds overly dramatic, but it is true. I cannot guarantee that this will work for every dog, but for my dog it has made a big difference. And we noticed a change when he was without it for a week. He had an accident in the house, started barking at the wall, and was restless at night. I am grateful for the cognitive powder because I believe it has bought me more time, and importantly, more QUALITY time with my best fuzzy friend. He's a happy guy, and I'm a happy dog mom.

Improved my dog's abilities
Haver a 14 year old cardiology patient with doggie dementia. He likes the flavor of this product, so it's easy to administer the powder on the tip of a damp Pupperoni. He is more connected to his environment, us and the other dogs.He has been seen smiling again and attempting to wag his tail. Ran about 10 steps and barked a few times. He is still pretty much blind and cannot always work the doggie doors. (I have enzymatic cleaners for that.)I get my boy back a little bit, for who knows how long.

Unreal results!
I was missing the signs of my 16 year olds cognitive decline! Then sadly she had a scary episode of crying out and then running circles around my bed! If I tried to stop her or comfort her she screamed! I had already ordered this so the following night I gave her just half the daily dose and she slept through the night! She is on heart meds so she is peeing a lot and was peeing in the house which is not like her! Now instead of several accidents a day it’s maybe two or three a week! She has been on this for almost a month and I’m beyond satisfied and blessed to have found it! I just mix it in her food and she gobbles it right up!UPDATE 4 MONTHS LATER!If my princess misses a dose she wonders around at night and pees on my bed now. I love this product so much! I’m still very happy! The new bag has new ingredients so I’m hoping it still works as well!

Good product but pricey.
Really seem to help my senior dog with dementia. Wish it was a bit cheaper.

This works
I started using this product last July for my elderly dog who's suffering from Sundowners. It took about 4-6 weeks to really work. This product is fantastic! It gave me back a more normal dog and improved her cognitive ability. It saved my sanity. I then combined this with Adapttil Calming Plug in. I had a much more content dog and good nights. My vet Vet has suggested this product to other clients because it works!

Changed their formula — why?
Okay so the first photo is the new pack that I got (maybe I would have returned it had I read the ingredients), and it was my intention of dumping it in the old container I have that is almost empty. I bought the one in the plastic container over a year ago.I have to wonder if shrinkflation or greed did this, but they seem to have changed their formula of both active and inactive ingredients. The old formula for the Inactive Ingredients was Beef Protein Isolate, Chicken Liver, Chicken Protein Isolate, and Whey Protein Isolate. Now the new Inactive Ingredients are Beef Protein, Chicken Protein, Natural Yeast Flavor, and Whey Protein Concetrate.I mean, okay...cutting corners here. But dropping the Eicosaoentaenoic Acid from the Active Ingredients list? That's supposed to help with inflammation and arthritic pain. Something seniors suffer from.I dunno man, it just seems like more greed to cut corners when the old formula works really good for my dogs. I suppose I should wait to dump this powder in there and maybe poke around for something that doesn't seem to be skimping on quality.

Works great for Sundowners
UPDATE 3/19/23 it worked wonderful for 4 glorious nights. My pup slept through all 4 nights with no interruptions during sleep. Unfortunately the sleepless nights from the sundowners started all over again. I’ll continue to use this product because if anything I’m hoping it slows down the progression of his dementia. My 16 year old pup started soiling in the house and presented sundowners. He was wandering with purpose all night and getting stuck in corners all night. Neither one of us was getting sleep. I found this and within a week he’s sleeping through the night and no more accidents in the house. I mix it in his kibble with a little water like a gravy once a day and he gobbles it up. It seemed to mess with his stomach when his poop started getting running and orange so I give him a probiotic with his morning meal and that did the trick.. This stuff is pricey for sure but my boy is happy and back to himself and we’re both sleeping again.
