I received a brand new unit, no dints. It appears to be working properly, so no faults. I followed cleaning instructions and there is no funny taste to the water. Does take a while to heat full 5 litres from cold but the reheat is quick. It is quiet enough for me. The choice of temperature setting is great. I am glad I went for this unit after reading a review. I was going to get a more expensive unit. If you receive a working unit like I did it is great value for the price. I had no need to contact the seller so cannot say what experience you would have if you needed them.

Price is competative and it heats water like it should.CONS: It does not remember the temerature you set it on, it has 3 settings 60, 85 & 98, I want 98 deg c for tea. I have it on a timer to save electrcity over night but when it comes on in the morning it forgets I want 98 deg and comes on at 60, real pain having to alter the temp every morning.Not sure about the UNLOCK button, never had this before, you just have to remember to keep pressing it if you are doing several cups of tea.Water guage is not the easiest to read, seems a common problem on all water boilers I've ever owned.Reboil is slow, also slow to reboil from 60 to 98 Deg C.At the end of the day at £50 its good value for money.

I love it no more waiting for kettle to boil it keeps water hot all day

Brilliant works very well the last one I had was a 3 ltr and I had for 5 years and stopped working as top seal got rotten away and it would not pump but the heater was still working well so if this last as long be perfect

Please see the photo. Very disappointed although this product had good reviews it was dented as soon as we opened the box. Another reviewer said the exactly the same thing also with a photo. Would not recommend.The quality of the metal casing was cheap and nasty.

Used for tea, coffee, cooking etc.. Water level very difficult to read as tube offset from vertical, narrowing at the top, and not illuminated.Pouring spout also offset, causing hot water to dispense at 20 degrees to the right of vertical. Also drops more water a few seconds after releasing button.

I love this pot easy and fast heating

Good product works well. Couple issues. When not fully warm if you try to dispense it flows after you stop pressing and makes a mess. Not a problem when hot though. Also have to open the lid to check water level as guage is invisible.. However for the money as it was a lot cheaper than its counterparts and on the basis that it's extremely good value for money and a large capacity even with these defects I would definitely recommend and buy again.
