good tea :)
I appreciate that this company didn't try to price gauge :)

Quality, Price, and Availability
Yorkshire Tea is the best for the following reasons: Superior quality in both loose leaf and teabag, reasonable price, and consistent availability. I have been a fan for many years now with both the red and the gold.

Excellent English Breakfast Tea and Good Value!
Taylors of Harrowgate is my go-to breakfast tea (I have used both Red and Gold and can't really discern a big difference between the two except for the cost); Amazon offers this as an excellent multi-bag value! It makes a strong but quite smooth cup, and is especially good with milk (which is my favorite way to drink it). Make sure that you bring the water to a full rolling boil before pouring it over the tea and let it steep for 3-4 minutes. Sometimes I mix this with Scottish Breakfast Tea for a bit smokier flavor., which is also quite nice.

Best Tea Ever.
I'm hooked on this stuff. Barry's Irish Breakfast used to be my favorite, but now Taylors Yorkshire Red is my #1.Warning-this loose leaf is very fine. I don't know if this is normal for this tea or if it's something that happens with shipping.None of my other tea balls worked without leaving tons of floating & settling leaf bits behind in my cup. I found a "super fine tea infuser" on Amazon (has a little flower on top) that works fantastic with this tea...no more bits in my cup.

Yorkshire Red is the best!
I love Yorkshire Red, and I go through about 8 ounces a month. See you again in six months! Great service!

English loose tea
As great fans of "real" tea - that is, not the stuff folded up in paper - for some time we have brought back many packages each time we visit England. When we ran out we used to be able to buy Taylor's Yorkshire tea at the local grocery store (at about twice the price but still worth it). On the last English visit we brought back several different brands (Typhoo, Taylors, PG tips ) and taste-tested them. Taylors was the most appealing to us. When we ran out again we found that the local store no longer carried it but not only does Amazon carry this brand in boxes of 6, but with an automatic delivery scheduled (every six months for our usage level) the price is sufficiently good that I'll never bother to stuff my suitcase with tea purchases again. Incidentally, if you are a regular tea drinker you might want to try making it in a standard drip coffee pot. It lets the tea leaves be in contact with the water about the right length of time and the filter strains them out. However, DON'T use the same pot for coffee - coffee leaves a residue on the basket and pot that imparts an unwanted flavor to the tea.

Pretty good. The tea leaves are in small granules
Pretty good. The tea leaves are in small granules, I suppose using the CTC method. Not a lot of nuance or delicate flavors but a good basic tea.

Makes a Lovely Cup of Tea, Indeed
I love this stuff. I'd been drinking Twinings English Breakfast for years. When my Mom asked for Christmas gift ideas last year, I mentioned loose tea and told her that was my favorite. I opened gifts on Christmas morning to find my first bag of Taylors of Harrogate Yorkshire Tea -- she hadn't been able to find Twinings loose leaf.I make it using an individual french press mug set (a Christmas gift from my brother a couple of years ago!), and it's the best tea I've ever had. I liked it so much I didn't even think twice about ordering the box of 6...and I may be asking for more by the time Christmas rolls around again!
