Horrible handle, Good blade
This handle is quite possibly the worst handle of any knife I have ever owned. And time will tell if them choosing wood was a good idea, I think it might have been a bad idea. Pinches and my hands are pretty avg. Where the handle comes down to keep from slipping back or forward it is sharp and crowded. I dont know if I want to take an angle grinder to this of just use it sparingly. The Sheath is ok, but I am not too excited about its ease of use and durability.I have not used it much but the steel seems more than capable and if not ESEE's warranty keeps me warm at night.

Quality standards greatly lowered than US made!
The feel of the knife is good But not sharp. Wood handle cheap and rivited. If you could buy scales for it or have already a Micarta handle on it, it would be a1000 times better. Sheath is junk.

Feels just right like normal ESEE
Quality machete. Only worried about warranty, called ESEE and they gave confirmation - same as those made in US, lifetime etc.

Wheres the brand name???
I have a Onterio kukri ($48 no complaints, no longer available) This is basically rebranded same kukri for$130. I have four esee knives no complaints. I hoped the warranty is justas good on this one. But the esee’s brand logo is no where to be found on the product. Makes me wonder.
