Good quality
The weight of these are good and you get 2 in the box so it's a good value.Too bad I never paid any attention to the old one. I couldn't figure out why my month old flag was torn and frayed. When bringing down the flagpole I found the old weight on the ground. It dry rotted in the FL elements.

Fabric loop detoriates after a few months
Worked great for a few months then the fabric loop holding the metal clip deteriorated. This product needs a more substantial fabric loop. The rest of the weight is in great shape, but is useless since the flimsy fabric loop failed. This is my second time using this item and same issue both times. It is only good for a few (4-6) months before failing.

Perfect for holding the flag down
Works as directed, keeps the flag from flying out like a rag on a string. Soft, so it doesn’t bang on the pole. Just what I was looking for.

Fabric sun rots in 1 month :(
This flag weight while a good idea needs better fabric. Mine only lasted 1 month in the AZ sun! Product failed. Maker needs to change to a UV resistant fabric.

Finally, a way to keep my house flag from getting caught up on the flagpole!
This is brilliant for outdoor house/garden flags. I get so tired of my vertically hanging flag blowing up and getting wrapped around the pole. Only the strongest winds can do that now. I tried magnets, but they ended up sticking to each other and losing the look of the open flag just as bad as having it caught up on the flagpole. I tried some clip-on weights, but they ended up getting flung off in the wind. No good.My one improvement to make these weights work the best was to add grommets to the bottom of my flag to hook these weights onto. These weights are going to stay on until the flag falls apart :-)

Didn’t work for me
These didn’t work for me, but maybe it was user error, who knows

Only lasted 5 months
We were very happy with this product, it did what it was designed to do. Then both weight ripped in the exact same place after just 5 months! Poor quality material used for the area attached to the metal rings!
