They work great!
I bought these for some cowboy boots with leather soles that I love to wear. They only take about a minute to put on my feet and the level of stability they give is priceless. I walked down and up a driveway completely covered in an inch of solid ice. I’ve never felt such confidence on ice before. They are a snap to take off. I have had to wear them around 10-12 times so far and getting them on gets easier with practice. I’ve also used them for non-icy conditions like walking up a mountain with wet leaves covering a muddy surface. Warning: do not wear around your house indoors or use on polished concrete or stone surfaces. You will ruin your home’s floors and will break your neck on polished surfaces. They really work well with no signs of wear so far. I would definitely recommend them to anyone cautious of icy conditions.

Icy Weather Must Have
A friend of mine from Alaska recommended this brand for me to use since I am running in the winter in an area that get a lot of ice. I was really excited to see how well they fit my shoe (m 10.5) in the large size. A lot of chains for shoes that you can buy at other places seem to be a lot more expensive while these are cheaper and just as easy to apply to your shoe. I really like design with the rubber and spike which feels durable to cold. Well, I still have yet to fully use them on heavy ice from using them on walking to and from work they have helped me feel a lot safer excited to use them more through the years! EDIT: These have been super helpful through the witner ran a multilple 5k distances and a couple 10 k as well as a 12 mile run.

WORKS WELL; WON'T GO OUT WITHOUT THEM IN SLIPPERY WEATHER
Judging by the size of the cleats, thought these wouldn't work well. I was wrong. The cleats are very effective. So much so, we won't go out without them in slippery or even snowy weather. And they help us keep us on target for our fitness walking plan. Now, because we have cleats, we brave the weather and get out and do our walking. While the cleats are easy to put on (we put them on our hiking boots first and then put the boots on) and easy to walk in, my only complaint is ... they do slip off the boot. We've had to backtrack a couple of times to find my missing cleat. I think they're tighter on my Hubs' boots than mine. But, this didn't happen when we first used the cleats new. So, I think they've stretched a bit. This coming winter, I'm going to try securing the cleat to my boots with ties. Some cleats are sold with velcro straps and I'll try to copy those. But, nevertheless, I still like how these cleats work. And to be sure we have enough of these cleats (in case we don't find one that has slipped off), we bought 2 more pairs. Each cleat is interchanable for L and R feet.

Ice gripping safety
I ordered large for a size 11 ankle boot and they fit snugly but one did come off once. Walking two weeks on snow and ice in single digit weather with some dry sidewalks and no slipping problems. I have replaced the back two studs on one boot. One stud was worn down and the other worn but still okay but replaced for symmetry. Studs were pretty easy to replace. Walking on dry sidewalks is not a problem. I have some studded cleats that are real heavy duty and are uncomfortable on dry sidewalks. These cleats added a level of ice gripping safety my ankle boots really lacked.

They work very well and fit just right.
Got exactly what I wanted and then some. These are great! Fit perfectly on my size 13 boots and I felt sure footed on snow and ice. Love them!

They do the job well. Just not very durable.
These absolutely help gain traction when walking on ice. I work at an arena that hosts hockey games and I was able to walk just fine on fresh ice with these on. However, I would recommend having a designated pair of shoes for these. Their durability is not the best if you are constantly putting these on and taking them off when you are done.

Cheap and weak in winter
These didn’t last 2 weeks before elastic snapped and they were useless.
