I’m not sure how this product is “safe for enamel” my teeth are not usually sensitive and they became incredibly sensitive to hot/cold foods for days after use! After a few days, I tried it again to be sure the discomfort I was feeling was from the product. Are enough, my teeth immediately became sensitive and my gums were also beginning to hurt. I’ve since visited my dentist, and she says charcoal whiteners “work” because they are so abrasive they are esstentially buffing the enamel off your teeth. No thank you, wish I hadn’t wasted my money... hopefully this review will keep you from wasting yours.*Also, from a marketing stand-point, the label and packaging has me thinking this was made in someone’s garage.

I bought my first jar in 2019/2020 when it first came out , amazing stuff and lasted forever. My jar got water in it and soured so I finally had to buy a new one. The formula in the new jar is very different. It's grey and not black, and it has lots of shinies now, ig more teeth whitner. I feel it doesn't work as well as the old product. :(

I used this product this morning for the first time and I already notice a difference in how white my teeth are. A few reason I gave this a 4 stars instead of 5: It says you must brush for 5 minutes with this I didn't do that long because my gums started to hurt a bit, but even at that, I still noticed a difference in whitening. While you are brushing with this, I would recommend leaning over the sink because I had black dots everywhere, they wipe off easily enough and maybe I am just a messy brusher, but it was literally everywhere. After you brush with this, you must brush with regular toothpaste to get all the black off. It doesn't say this in the instructions on the back but you will want to brush with regular toothpaste. After brushing for about 3 minutes my gums started to get raw and once I used regular toothpaste they bled a bit but I am not sure if that is just my gums being sensitive or the actual powder.I loved how there was no smell or taste. It is actually a powder form so you wet your tooth brush and then dip it in the powder. It doesn't have any cautions on it anywhere but I am assuming, just like toothpaste, you will not want to be swallowing this when brushing. (probably why I had it everywhere.)All in all this is a great product and after one use you will notice a difference. It also doesnt' say anywhere how long to use it for, but I am guessing once you have white teeth you could stop until you need to do it again.
