Putting boils down to 3 main components. The quality of your stroke, speed and read.This is the best aid I have found to tighten the putting stroke and make it laser accurate and much more consistent. I have the putter gate set to 3 which gives me about 1/16” of space for my LAB DF3 to pass through. The ball gate is set to 3. This forces you to limit wrist extension and rotation through the hitting zone and make perfect contact every time. I’ve also noticed it helps to smooth the transition from backstroke to forward stroke. I focus on getting the ball cleanly through the gate knowing the outcome of the putt takes care of itself after that assuming the speed and read are good.I tried setting the ball gate to 4. Wow is that tight!!!!!! Eventually I’ll get there and when I do I’ll have confidence knowing that my putting stroke is as good as it can get.Another great product from Why Golf. Well done.

Pricey for what it is but maybe I’m just jealous that I didn’t think of it first. It is challenging but I’ve gotten good at 3. We’ll see how it translates on the greens.

Absolutely great tool. First, you confirm your aim with the plastic insert - so vital. Second, it does not move on the carpet, on the grass, secure it with tees. One thing though, the Spider X Tour putter is small and the gate for the putter head is just too wide. It corrects only big mistakes, which I have anyway.

I’ve always felt, that if I can putt, I could be a decent player. I’m a winter golfer but the rain hasn’t stopped in Virginia. I kept getting bombarded with adds for this “thing”. It’s no joke, I paired it with my putting mat (without it… I can make 20 out of 20)… this “thing” makes me concentrate on every putt… you have no choice on setting 4. It’s made me slow down and make sure that I’m in the SAME position, each and every time. I haven’t putted on a green yet but I feel that it’s improved my setup and tempo, in my mind I can now know instantly that I made a mistake… now I can watch golf while dialing in my putting! It’s kind of expensive, but can you put a price on knowing you’re going to drop a 4 footer in front of your mates? I think not!

Not the greatest tool

This is a great training aid that doesn’t require a hole. You can do it on carpet or any hard surface. Hotel rooms are great! Putting direction is key and this makes sure you know exactly where you are missing or if you are going straight. Can be easy or extremely difficult. I love mine I use it all the time! Helped me go from a 2 to a +0.1
