There’s no chicken in it!
Haven’t used it yet. Right now I’m using better than boullon which I really like, but it’s very expensive, so I thought I’d try and less expensive bouillon replacement. I was surprised when I got it. The chicken, flavored bullion didn’t have any chicken.I am always looking for a great bouillon without msg.

Serving size is small and bland and/or confusing
First impressions:I was wondering what the catch was to make it low fodmap. And it's that the serving size of 1/4 tsp, which is required to not go over to make it actually low FODMAP, is tiny and the broth barely tastes like anything. The powder tasted good when I licked it off the measuring spoon. Bummer. I do see now that another reviewer mentioned that you needed at least 2 tsps, which is double the instructions, which is great for them but they apparently aren't following a low FODMAP diet. I think this is a problem on monash's side, not massel, but not telling consumers where the yellow and red light cut offs is for branded premade products (eg not whole foods) makes the system almost useless, including for this product.I'm confused about what the serving size actually is. The American nutrition label says to put 1 "heaping tsp" (which is some BS imo, for a product where the amount used dictates whether it's low FODMAP or not) in 4 cups of water, and the serving size is listed as 1 cup. Which would indicate a serving size of ~1/4 tsp. But the Australian label says the serving size is 1.5 grams. One star is just because anything more than one star doesn't effectively communicate that the product was not satisfactory. It's probably more like 2 stars for me.Extremely expensive, but when you don't have any other options, you take what you can get, I guess.
