Braun Silk-épil 5 Epilator, Wet & Dry, Lasting Smooth Skin, SE5-230

For years I've gone to a salon to be waxed once a month (every 5 weeks) and have been spending $200+ per visit. I was looking for something to reduce that monthly cost. (I pay for a full leg, brazillian, arms & armpits).I've used an epilator before, but it was nothing close to this one! There is a huge difference between the Braun & the more basic model I had before. (also sold on Amazon for about $30)It's not loud, even on the faster speed, I could easily hear the TV over the epilator..Pain was minimal to none..I was almost thinking it must not be working, until I pulled the head off...it was full of hair! It was pulling even hairs too short to wax! My legs feel so silky smooth..no red bumps or discomfort..I will easily be able to do everything but the Brazilian, (can't see myself epilating there) I can already tell this will easily save me more than $100 a month!There is a light on the epilator, which makes seeing the hair much easier, deffinately a plus!I would (and have already) recommend this Braun model. I dont know if I'll have use of the other attachments, but they are a nice bonus!Great price for a quality machine, does everything it says, I'm so happy with this epilator..

This? Works absolutely wonders. If you’re getting hair breaking rather than coming out, you are going too fast. The first one is the absolute worst, I had to keep taking breaks 😅 I’ve used it ALL over and my skin is left feeling silky smooth. I have sensitive skin, I’m a little red for a few minutes after and then I’m good.

Okay, so I finally spent the money to buy one of these. I can’t see well enough to pluck hairs anymore, and I don’t want be one of “those” ladies with hair on their chin, lip, or neck. This works pretty well overall. It gets all the fine and long hairs. The only ones it seems to frequently miss are the ones that are thick and stiff. However, those are much fewer, and I will have to deal with those some other way. This is MUCH more convenient than trying to wax. It’s a bit painful at first, but if you use it every week it’s not bad at all. I would definitely buy it again.

It is a good product but when people say it hurts LISTEN!! It hurt so bad. I followed the direction and even tried soaking my skin to loosen the follicles and also make it a bit easier, but this hurt like the dickens. I have a high pain tolerance and really couldn’t make it past one stroke up my shin. I did try to press through but I couldn’t do it.I’d say it’s good for some people but not for me. The product came in good condition and was very easy to use. Directions were clear and the box was clean. I only recommend this to those willing to try. I will deter no one because I think I’m at least that one spot it did what it was supposed to and hurt like everyone said it would.

I love these-a huge improvement over shaving. This set comes with a number of different heads, depending on what you care to use them for, for each of the trimmers themselves. There is a large one and a nice small one. The large one is rechargeable which is great (lasts a long time). The small one uses a AAA battery. Removing hair this way means it doesn't come back as quickly and there really is no pain involved, at least that I have ever found. Recommend!
