OEM + Scales have an accessible additional slot so ++
91mm + scales are mightier than the knife alone. Having a pen you can produce like a magician can be ruthlessly slick in the field. Not as much a fan of the standard toothpick, I slot the Ferro rod from Firefly.A simple mod can be done before installing to return the pick. Interestingly theses OEM scales (Not soo some aftermarket + scales as in the Yellow ones) have an additional short slot accessible in front. I used the Ranger's file to simply groove out the path, cut the pick short to fit and Joe's your dad.

Extra slot
Great to have the extra slot, so that I can carry tweezers, toothpick, and a pen. It’s amazing how often I need that pen.Plus, they really look great!

Fits and looks great!
Fits great on my new Fieldmaster SAK. Wanted the extra slot for the mini pen.

It looks great but it feels cheap
The media could not be loaded. It’s an amazing basic mod you can make yourself but for the price and it being name brand it definitely lacks in quality, it’s easily scratch able by anything else in your pocket and my came with a crack already. Which $20 for some thin plastic just seems greedy.

Looks and fits great on fieldmaster.
Beautiful. Used a hair dryer with a diffuser on it on a low heat setting to soften up the original red scales on my fieldmaster.Popped them off and then heated up the new blue scales on the inside of them, then I gently used a small vice (with a towel on the sides of the SAK) to put these blue scales on.I did not want to use warm water to soften the scales, and a hairdryer worked perfectly. (Just don't get the plastic too hot; a diffuser helps with this.) You should be able to hold your hand under the warm air for a decent amount of time so you know the plastic is safe.I hope this helps someone who doesn't want to get their SAK soaked for no reason. Now I'm just waiting for my pen, so I covered up the empty pen slot with some painters tape so it doesn't get filled with gunk while the slot is empty.
