Q: Is this the blackest of black ink from Noodler'?

Heart of Darkness is probably the blackest of the Noodles line and is a very permanent, water resistant ink with very good properties in my opinion. I use it continually.

Q: How long is the ink visible (under UV light) after it dries?

The fluorescent particles in the ink will likely outlive the paper.

Hello. Yes, this is listed on the Noodler's website as being water resistant. All of the bulletproof line of inks are water resistant. It will take a little longer to dry on the paper, but it's well worth the wait. Check the Noodler's website and read about the bulletproof inks to see all of the properties.

Q: How do you make it visible once it dries?

The ink shines bright under UV light (you can use small keyring, such as http://www.amazon.co.uk/365nm-Black-Light-Keyring-Counterfeit/dp/B0052CLHMQ). Of course the effect is greater if you are in a dark place. I also suggest to write on paper not treated with fluorescent whitening agents (that make it very "white"). Fabriano Ecoqua paper is quite dark under UV light (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=ecoqua%20fabriano)
