I think I'm just a mosquito magnet ! We live in Florida and we hang out in our garage most of the time. Seems no matter where I sit, once I sit still I get attacked by the teeny tiny mosquitos that are native to this area. I have tried at least 4 different mosquito repellars including the ones that have little butane cartridges and fans. This is just so simple , and it works ! Just stick the pad in the device and plug it in. It does not have a very large repel range but that's okay since the plug is right next to me.The pads seem to last about 12 hours for me. You put it in, let it go until the top is white, then you can take it out and flip it over and let it go until the other side is white.Wish the little pads were easier to find though.

Still testing but seems to dry out fast. I have used a couple of times now and each time, I can say I didn’t notice any mosquitos but not sure if they were even out at that time. It does seem the scented pad doesn't last a full 4 hours. I've only used approx 2 hours each time and the pad turned mostly white each time. I am also wondering about getting replacement pads. I haven't looked it up yet but would want to be sure I can easily order refills. Since mosquitos love me, I will continue to test it as I would like to think it's making some difference.

Let me start by saying that I used this outside where I sit in the evening, verses using it inside. Here in the South, mosquitoes are horrible year round and I wanted to use something that didn’t require buying the little gas containers, which can get expensive.As for the actual product, it gets rather warm after about 5 minutes. I waited about 15 minutes for the device to get completely warmed up… as I fanned off a vicious attack from blood sucking, hummingbird sized mosquitoes. The scent pads that come with this device never seemed to put out steam like the pads do with Thermacell. It’s almost hard to tell they are even there. There was minimal scent, even at a distance of 2 feet. As for the efficiency of repelling mosquitoes , it did help verses nothing. I can say they were only half as bad after 15-20 minutes. So maybe this device is much better used inside, but it would be low on my list to help when outdoors.I may try using a thermacell scent pad to see if it makes a difference… if I do, I’ll update this review.
