MARENA MV Stage 1 Men’s Adjustable Sleeveless Compression Vest – Post-Surgery Support Garment

More expensive than other compression vests but very well worth it. The quality of compression helped with decreasing the swelling and discomfort quicker after gynocomastia surgery. I’m glad I followed Marena’s sizing recommendations rather than my usual size. The recommended size was very tight fitting but my surgeon said it was perfect for compression. I realized after surgery that the very tight fit ( compression) was helping to reduce chest discomfort. The zipper and hooks ensured a snug fit. They were very helpful because i wasn’t allowed to raise my arms for a pull over type vest. The full length was important to keep the vest from riding up. The arm holes were too tight for me and caused blisters but put gauze to pad the area and it was fine after swelling went down. Wearing a t-shirt under helps too if anything is rubbing. I’m glad I bought two so I could alternate them between washes and drying. I hung mine to dry.

Worked as Intended for my surgery. Easy to clean.

This is good compression, very steady however, mine came used. It has hair on it and looks washed out. I processed a return and returned it but will rebuy this name-brand. I see another comment about their coming used. I hope this is just a “one off” type of thing.

5’7” 195lbs weightlifter using size XL. I used this post chest surgery after using the one provided by the Doc. Having a wide back made the chest binder provided by the Doc slide down continuously. It was so much of a PIA! Subsequently, it wasn’t maintaining constant compression over the chest as needed. Having the compression vest allows my shoulders to suspend the garment and no more sliding around. This thing is locked in and I can feel the compression all over. I am so grateful for this!

It is truly excellentI used it and it is perfect.Just take the smaller size than yours. My size is large (after measuring based on the chart) but i went for medium. It is tight but not too tight. So it works ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5

I purchased this garment for after a chest surgery as recommended by the surgeon. This brand specifically was supposed to be the best of the best. After a few days and the swelling decreasing it barely held any kind of compression. It does not compress the needed areas and is too tight in other areas. Within days of passing the warranty period the zipper broke and it was even more difficult and uncomfortable to use.

The product is as advertised. Its definitely of good quality. I like that it clips and zips in the front. This is a lot easier to put on than the pull-over type. I held back one of the stars because of the straps on the shoulders. The straps would be convenient if they didn't dig into your skin so bad. The hard backed Velcro cause a lot of irritation if you don't wrap it in something.

Just enough compression for comfort and binding. Long. Not too hot 🥵. Light weight.
