Excellent product
The media could not be loaded. I have a 2021 Nucamp Tab 320 Boondock and this is by far the best quality and price for rain/sun protection. Exactly what I wanted!! It is a little difficult to set up solo but 2 people super simple. Definitely recommend for all you boondockers!!

Very well made
This shelter tent was an excellent buy at an excellent price, great material. I can’t brag enough about this shelter tent and I haven’t even used it yet. I’m all set for camping in April and I can’t wait.

Cross bar grommet broken after using twice. Repaired with stronger brass grommet.
Over all good quality and great size. Good value for the price.

Almost perfect and works great for a (moderately) lifted rig
Over the last 10 years I have tried all sorts of tarps and rear hatch tents and every single one proved to be disappointing. When I saw a review on the Kelty Highroads Overlanding Shelter, I thought that might "Be the one!!"The first time that I set it up was a lil tricky. But it fulfilled all my expectations and so long as you guy it out, it has stood up to both strong winds and rains. Plus after that first time, set up is pretty easy and fast."As for almost perfect." It's a glorified tarp, NOT a tent and so bugs and other critters can still be an issue. But as a glorified tarp, it's the best that I have found and you really can't beat it.

Great changing tent!
I got this thing to use as an awning for my teardrop trailer, but liked the idea that you could drop the sides and turn it into a full privacy tent for changing clothes or washing-up or whatever. It served the purpose and looked great! I had a few people walking through the campground that stopped to look at it. It was pretty easy to set up by myself and the long straps help you adapt it to whatever vehicle you're trying to attach it to. I do wish that it had longer corner straps to be able to secure the corner flaps down better when you want to turn it into a full tent... it was hard to secure those in a breeze but I made it work. The other thing I was surprised to find that it did NOT have was loops on the inside to hang things. There was one center loop at the very top to hang a lantern, but nothing on the sides that you could use to hang a mirror or hang a sweatshirt, etc. But aside from that, this worked really well for what I was envisioning and looked nice too. Someone even asked me if it came with the trailer. Putting it away was just as easy, and it fit no problem back into the bag that it came in.

Backroads is Fragile; High Roads is TERRIFIC
Amazon won't let me review the two versions separately. I would give the Backroads two stars and the Highroads five stars.Initially bought the Backroads version but returned it. The conditions in which it can be used are so limited it's not worth the expense or the hassle to put it up. I don't need a shelter for perfect weather. One of the fiberglass poles snapped in light wind and as a result I was picking painful splinters out of my hands for days.Bought the Highroads version which is constructed of heavier-duty material, comes with stronger aluminum poles and also has some handy pockets on the interior. This version is soooo much nicer!!!! I love this one!!! It is worth the extra money. We had a storm come through and the Highroads shelter took it like a champ. I added some pool noodles to my roof rack where I was worried the tent might rub.I like how these tents stow in a fairly compact bag and the whole assembly is pretty light. I'm 5'4" and 60 and had no problem putting these up - they don't require much strength. I do recommend replacing the included stakes with beefier ones.
