Don't believe the specs
I purchased this to replace an older commercial ice make with similar specs. We use ice machines predominately to load our coolers every weekend in the summer for camping. We bag and store ice in our freezer for extended stays and to share with friends. Here are my observations.- The hopper window is too small. My arm scrapes the wall every time I go in to grab a scoop of ice. It takes several scoops for the 10 lb bags I fill- The ice bin is deep, but not big. The included scooper looks like it would be nice to scooping ice into glasses, but it would take forever to fill a 10lb bag. I have a larger scooper, but it is difficult to use inside the small bin.- Cubes are small and stick together in sheets. You'll have to break the ice up before you scoop it. I compare the advertised cube size with that of my commercial machine where my commercial machine was more rectangular and came out in individual cubes.- The ice door gets in the way of scooping. If the door was more recessed, I wouldn't rub my arm on it every time I got a scoop.- No way does it hold 48lbs of ice. I bagged ice this morning and barely got 2 - 10lb bags worth. I should have had 4 bags of ice if this worked according to the specs.- It's an over-side countertop model. It's plastic inside, it works pretty much the same as the smaller countertop models only it has a water line and drain, and holds more ice.I'm generally very un-happy with this machine. I'm trying to figure out what to do next with this. I'm not sure I can return it. It will make ice, and I'm sure I can use it for something, but as much ice as we use in the summer, this is not the answer I'm looking for. I'm probably going to spend more money to get my commercial unit fixed and this will be a backup. Maybe..

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Surprise Win! Size Doesn’t Matter (At Least for Ice Machines!)
When I first unboxed this ice machine, I was honestly a little concerned—it was half the size of our previous unit, and I doubted it could keep up. But wow, was I wrong!Despite its compact size, this little powerhouse churns out ice faster and more efficiently than our old one ever did. It fits perfectly under the counter, runs quietly, and keeps up with our restaurant’s daily needs without breaking a sweat.Smaller and better? I guess size really doesn’t matter—at least not when it comes to ice machines. Highly recommend!

Cheap China Crap.
I drilled a hole through my wall and then my deck to run the drain pipe for this unit which for some reason does not have a drain pump on it for this price. I ran taps from my washing machine valve to run the cold water for this unit. The drain is so sensitive on this unit that I had to elevate the unit further. Then I ran this thing. It made ice twice. And then drops it into the bin and I was like "great" will check back in an hour when the bin is full. I checked back in an hour, and the bin was empty which was a "not funny" magic trick. I thought my kids were playing games with me. So I sat there an watched. 2 more cycles of ice, and dropped into the bin. Then it started to fill the water bucket up top, and it never stopped, so water keep flowing down and melting the ice completely, before starting the process all over again. I would like to recomend to Amazon to inform whomever makes this unit for them to invest in a way to create a coherent manual. Everything is misspelled and "EXPLOSION WARNING" written all over the shipping box. This doesn't work at all for such a big unit. This is going back where it came from.

Don’t know what to think.
I am pleased that it makes ice fast, but the description is misleading. I ordered this particular ice machine cause it say it holds 48lbs of ice and it doesn’t. The bin is so small. This is very misleading and I would love to send it back and get a more accurate ice machine that matches the price I paid. I could have gotten and bigger machine for a little less than what I paid for this one that actually holds more ice. I make drinks for living so a larger bin would be better for me. Amazon should better vet the items they allow people to sell on their platforms. It would be too much trouble for me to have to get it uninstalled and send it back and have someone to reinstall. Unfortunately allowed my husband to have some one install it when I wasn’t here cause had I seen it first I wouldn’t have let them install it. Shame on this company for misleading people. We work hard for our money and don’t want to just throw it away.

Highly Recommend this Ice Machine
So I got this ice machine for Christmas and have been loving it. Yesterday, I decided to clean it and before I could, it started making a loud noise. I thought, oh, no, it's dying. So I reached out to customer service and they gave me steps to do, which basically was a good cleaning. I did take the lid off the unit and unscrewed a cover in there where the ice comes from and used a toothbrush and some vinegar to clean around in there and did get some calcium deposits out. Then I ran a clean cycle with a little vinegar water and it is back to being quiet and making ice like a dream. Highly recommend this ice maker, but also recommend to clean it regularly. I will be cleaning mine weekly now. Great and quick customer service feed back.

This is the product you're actually getting:Antarctic Star Commercial Ice Makers Machine Stainless Steel Makers 100 Lbs of Ice Per 24H with 33 Pounds Storage Capacity Ice Cubes Freestanding Party/Bar/Restaurant Scoop Connection Hose Silver https://a.co/d/e547y2pThe photos make the machine look larger than it is. The dimensions written are correct though.I own a coffee shop, and we use about 70lbs of ice per day. Let's see how this little thing does! I hope it works because a conventional commercial under counter machine costs $2000+ !FYI commercial ice bins are not freezers. They are simply bins. Ice is constantly melting and dripping to a drain. It's just how they all work. In this way, the bin never overflows.
