I bought this Wahl shaver for its quality above all else. I usually use rotary as when the foil wears out it really doe's attack my skin if I'm not careful.[spare foil and cutter supplied]The shave is incredible but that's my opinion. I bought a single head cylindrical usb type and sent it straight back. This Wahl shaver for the money is brilliant. Fully recommend this one. Perfect size for travelling.Only gripe is it apparently takes 8hrs charge.

Very compact but well made foil shaver, maybe not ideal for full shaves due to its size. As close as a wet shave.Only downside is the mains charging lead as it comes with a 2 pin plug that requires a shave adapter plug to charge it. About time Wahl offered usb chargingPresented in a handy metal tin. Good price

Perfect travel razor for limited space

I bought the shaver as I wanted a small single foil that I could use to trim around the outline of of my goatee, mo, and sideburns before using my large Panasonic shaver. With my face covered in shaving foam it would be impossible to get accuracy with the large unwieldy head of the Panasonic. To this end, the shaver fulfils the purpose.The razor is very small, and whilst it will fit a top pocket for on the go, I wouldn't want to use it for a full shave as it would be a slow process. How it will perform over time with regard to charge and foil sharpness, I have yet to establish. I've given three stars as the razor cannot be rinsed under the tap, and in use the motor speed varies slightly according to shaver orientation and grip, and also, it labours a little in use. Given the very light usage it will get, I would hope it has a good service life.

Foil failed after 5 months of occasional use. A sharp edge cut my lip where a jagged hole was made in the foil. There is a single replacement foil provided but these cannot be purchased separately. Planned obsolescence. Not fit for purpose.

Needed a replacement for my Panasonic travel shaver, which I'd left in a hotel bathroom somewhere. Made the poor decision of going for a cheaper one. This Wahl shaver is very noisy. I don't have thick stubble, but this shaver struggled, even after only 1 day of growth. Could feel a lot of snagging on hairs. It is compact, but the Panasonic is even smaller and does a better job all round.

This shaver provides exceptional value for money. Whilst Whal is a reputable brand that I have used for years, the quality of this shaver exceeds what I was expecting at this price point.I have beard, so I don’t have much surface area to shave, however I use this shaver to clean below my neckline and it does a fine job.This shaver is lightweight and is ideal for travelling. It comes in a well presented tin with a travel pouch and spare foil.I would reccomend this shaver for if you want something compact and lightweight to travel with. It cleans my neckline up nicely.
