A detailed review of my use. I hope it helps with your decision.
I have read the reviews on this product from multiple sources and decided to try it. I will give my 6 day review on it first and update at about 10 to 14 days.I have seasonal skin. In the spring or summer it's normal to oily and in the winter or fall, it's normal to dry. I do have sensitive skin. I did not find that this soap upset my PH. I don't think it's strong enough to if I'm being honest. My skin was not affected in a sensitive skin way. Even though it is naturally fragrant, I found it mild enough to use on sensitive skin.I bought this soap for two reasons. One, to use as a deep clean or daily clean for my oily facial skin right now as we are experiencing high heat in CA. Two, to help get a deeper clean in areas exposed to less sunlight due to the humidity and heat here. IE. Underarms, under boob, between thighs, and so on. I would not recommend it for personal feminine parts as no fragrant soap is right for that job. Talk to your doctor. The soap did just fine. It not only broke through the oily skin issue, but it didn't dry me out horribly either. Sure it was a little dry, but that it to be expected with a deep cleaning bar soap. I find this soap to be gentle enough for every day or every other day use. My skin was clean. It completely resolved any issues within the first two days. I felt super refreshed and clean. It looked clean and it made my skin glow a bit too. I noticed the redness in my complexion fading as well.It smells wonderful. A lot of the ingredients are pretty good too. I got many compliments on the smell from people around me directly after I showered. It's not overpowering but the perfect amount.A little bit goes a long way. It foams up pretty easy. I could cut the soft bar so I'm not wasting the full bar under the water. This way I could put a bit by the sink in the morning for a quick facial wash or after workout wash. The only gripe I have is the packaging. It's your typical soap box. Simple. Elegant. Clean. However it felt a bit flimsy. It was packaged very well though so it did not arrive damaged.I hope this review helps. I am considering trying all of their product line and leaving reviews. Its pricey so I may take my time.

Squeaky Clean, but not Dry
Since my holy grail strawberry glycerin soap seems to have fallen off the face of the earth, I've been on the hunt for the perfect bar facial cleanser. This one ticks all the boxes for me. It leaves a squeaky clean, without feeling stripped. It doesn't leave me with patchy dryness and it does seem to be improving my complexion in some small ways. It's lightly scented and suds up nicely. I feel like the bar will last while. Give it a shot, you'll probably like it too!

Love this soap!
I love this soap! I have sensitive skin (Rosacea) and my doctor had put me on cortisone to prevent the rash-like bumps associated with Rosacea. Cortisone cream thins the skin and shouldn't be used on the face, but it was the only thing working. After a few days of using the Pink Clay soap, my skin doesn't need the cortisone. It's gentle and leaves skin clean and hydrated after using. I use with Kate Somerville Quench and Kiehl's face balm and that is it. No cortisone creams, or any prescription or OTC meds. The only reason I don't give it a full five stars is its white kaolin clay - not pink. Pink clay is red and white kaolin clay mixed to create the pink color. The ingredients on the label state only white kaolin is used. It's just misleading on it being pink clay and I'm curious how it's pink if there isn't any red clay.

already purchased again!
i have tried a LOT of different soap brands. I really liked the fact that i can use this on my body and face and it cleanses but my skin doesn’t feel dried out at all. the smell is so good. i’ve tried a couple of Herbivore products in the past and i really appreciate the brand and what they are doing. the price of this soap is very reasonable for how long it lasts. i have combination facial skin and slightly dry body skin.

Great soap, seems to be actually working for my skin
I am a minimalist/lazy in my skincare regimen, but hate the tiny hormonal zits I get once a month almost as much as I am lazy. Enter this soap - while it's expensive, I exclusively use it for my face so it lasts. I use it every day and it has cut down on my breakouts a lot. I have combination skin and it manages it well. My face is INCREDIBLY soft from the soap. One time my boyfriend used it to wash his hands, and then I held his hand and accused him of using my special expensive face soap because I could tell just by how soft it made his hands that he had used it. When I use it up, i WILL order it again.

Loved it
10/10. I'm not big on perfumy chemical smelling soaps. I'm more Into the spending extra money on mud from the dead sea type of soaps. I loved this one. No weird brown chunks or charcoal stains left in my shower either. Smelled so clean and made my skin feel like a rose pedals

The clay soap is just so-so
No results for me. I dislike the smell of the lapis oil. To me it smells medicinal, used this along with the clay bar soap, prism oil, blue tansy mask, jasmine green tea balancing toner for 30 days on 52 year old youngish looking skin (have always used facial sunblock) with occasional breakouts, and overall combination skin, and also threw in a pink clay exfoliating mask (bought all on amazon) and will try to return. The pink clay mask smells like dirt. And clumps up, smelled so bad I couldn’t tolerate leaving it on. Maybe I picked the wrong combination of products to buy. Even so, that has turned me off to this line, even tho I was excited to try it, and the simple packaging and natural ingredients attracted me. I can say out of all the products I bought, the pink clay bar soap does clean nicely and not over dry, but doesn’t get my light to moderate eye makeup off completely.
