This hot tub is a STEAL! Now if they would only make more of them...
We had to wait several months for this hot tub to become available after zeroing in on it as the one we wanted, particularly after reading the other reviews here. A small window of availability in Dec/Jan allowed us to snag one, and we can happily say the reviews were not wrong! The bottom line is that this product is far superior to the myriad of inflatables that have flooded the market, including those offered by this same company. Given that, it is mind-boggling to me why they are not producing more of these units, or why some other company has not come out with a similar design.Out of the box the ThermaCore panels are easily assembled and zip snugly into the shell, which feels very thick and durable (as others have mentioned do not try and assemble in cold weather or the shell won't have enough flexibility and you won't be able to zip it). The heater/filter unit is already built in as well, which means once you've completed this part you are basically done. The result is a unit that just feels MUCH sturdier than an inflatable, and one that functionally does a way better job heating and retaining water temperature, particularly in cooler weather. Filling from a garden hose on a chilly winter night, it took our hot tub just over 24 hours to heat up from 45 degrees to 104. We have sat in it as long as two hours with temps in the mid 20s, and the water temp maintained 102 for most of the soak and never dropped below 100. Note: this is primarily without the jets on; some have mentioned the jets cool the tub more quickly (you do feel the cold air when you turn them on). If this is an issue for you I would think there might be a way to warm the air near the intake, but haven't tried it since the jets are a little aggressive for us anyway so we haven't been using much.As far as cons, the wifi doesn't seem to work so the panel just blinks constantly. Not sure why it's needed anyway. Who really needs an app for their hot tub? The cover has an inflatable insert and it's a bit flimsy; wish they would have given two semi-circle ThermaCore panels to zip into it instead. However, it does what it needs to do to keep the tub at 104 and ready to go when not in use, so it's a minor quibble. Lastly, this is NOT a 6 person hot tub. I'd say 2-4 people and 4 would be a stretch unless everyone is smaller, but that's coming from someone 6' 260lb so take that for what it is worth.Again, the bottom line here is that if you are in the market for a portable hot tub and this becomes available again, you should definitely get one. For a few hundred more than most inflatable models, it is a steal.

A purchase we do not regret!
I was very hesitant to purchase this. We've never owned a hot tub. I wasn't sure if we would use it very much, or if it would even work in our cold winter climate, or if it would be more hassle than it it worth. It has been better than expected on all counts, and we have decided to make a permanent place (paver patio) for it.It took about 3-4 months from the time that I ordered it for it to show up. It showed up in the first week of January, which is a cold, snowy time of year. However, we simply shoveled some snow away, laid a hot-tub pad down on the grass, assembled it, plugged it in and filled it up. the design is awesome - very simple. It took about 10-15 minutes to assemble, and the materials are high quality. It was very cold outside, so we assembled it in our living room, then tipped it on its side and carried it outside. We had to thaw out a garden hose in order to fill it up - It took about 25 minutes to fill. We set the heat at 104 degrees and it took about 24 hours to reach full temperature (it gains about 2 degrees per hour). We have left it set at 104 ever since. We don't bother with the timer since we use it almost daily. It was about 20 degrees F outside when we set it up. I was worried about it being able to maintain temperature in the super cold nights. It says not to use the hot tub below 14 degrees F, but we did many times with no problems. We used it when it was near 0 degrees and even at 5 below. It was awesome except for getting out afterwards :).It had no problems maintaining the temp. When it was around 0 degrees F, the water temp would drop from 104 to 102 after about 20-30 minutes with the cover off. This wasn't a big deal and wouldn't even be noticeable without the display.Just so you are aware, it has to be above 47 degrees F in order for the pump to turn on the first time. We assembled ours inside the house, but had to wait for it to warm up because it had been sitting outside on a pallet. Also, you should have your chlorine tablets and shock ready to use. We thought we could get away with using the tub for a few days before adding chloring, but that wasn't the case. The water became murky after about 5 days. After four months we've gotten pretty good at maintaining the water quality with regular maintenance. It is now April and the weather is nicer, but we are still using the hot tub 3-4 nights a week. We have teenagers who have loved inviting their friends over. One more thing to note about the size: They call it a 6-person tub. It is perfect for two people. Four people can fit pretty easily, but you would need to be comfortable with those people - you'll be touching each other. My wife and I use it regularly and our kids use it - the size has never been an issue for us.

Great bridge between inflatable hot tub and traditional hot tubs
Absolutely love this little hot tub! We have had inflatable hot tubs before but this foam style tub is superior. It was on my watch list for a while and we ordered it as soon as it became available. You cannot beat the price, ease of set up, or quality. Affordable and comfortable, our favorite Valentines gift to one another. The wifi capabilities make operating the tub so convenient. My only complaint is the inflatable lid, we wish it was foam like the rest of the tub. Side-note: To elevate the look we built a small surround.

Good 2nd-gen. portable spa, with some room for improvement.
This is our 2nd Saluspa. Overall, a good unit with some highlights below.Cons: App & WiFi connectivity (by far biggest gripe). App store reviews say it all (difficult to connect, app needs uninstall/re-installed, etc.) & while WiFi is a nice-to-have feature, it's just not ready for prime time on this model. Also, the inflatable insert for the cover is *significantly* under-sized--plan to get a larger replacement one (otherwise it bails out half a gallon of water each time cover's removed.Meh: Pillows (maybe just spoiled by soft top on last inflatable), still get cold bubbles after ~ 10 minutes (even after placing a pet warmer pad under inflator/heater unit & using pictured pentagon tent) during colder weather, & probability of having to fully un-zip + partially remove a few foam inserts to fully drain & clean inflator/heater unit.Pros: Keeps & adds heat *much* better than our last inflatable tub. Overall footprint is actually smaller than our last tub while also having a deeper+wider interior. Bubbles are quite a bit stronger than last spa, too. Finally, appreciate the space-saving aspect of integrating the inflator/heater into one of the (slightly larger) foam side inserts).
