Great Knife with rich history
I got this Kukri blade to add to my collection and it is incredibly impressive, and I’m amazed by both its craftsmanship and rich history. Since it’s an officially issued piece for soldiers it adds a special significance, and makes me feel connected to its heritage. The blade is made from really strong spring steel and is incredibly sturdy and durable. You can tell it’s built to last. I also love the horn handle, it feels comfortable and the natural look adds a touch of uniqueness to the knife. The leather sheath is looks beautiful and is very high quality. Plus, the two small knives are handy additions that make this Kukri a complete set. It’s not just a knife, but a piece of art with a deep story behind it.

Not what you think
The only thing nice about this knife is the sheath. I have butter knives sharper than this. Definitely not worth the money

Really Nice Knife, Especially for Display
I have a son that loves collecting swords and exotic style blades. He has been wanting a kukri for some time, so i jumped on this.First off, this is a large and heavy piece. It is very forward weighted, as kukri is intended to be, for chopping and hacking. This si not something I think you would get a sa functional knife for working unless you were doing some heavy chopping. It could lend itself to that. Hlowever, thought the blade has an edge, it is not exceedingly sharp; and I would not want to try to spend time sharpening it. It really is a nice display piece. The blade is highly polished and shipped with a generous coating of oil to prevent rusting/corrosion. The scabbard is very well crafted too. He loves it and will be displaying beside the katana we purchased for him last year, If you are into collecting unique/exotic blades; this is a well made knife.

Beautiful craftsmanship
The media could not be loaded. You can tell by looking at this knife that it was not made by a machine, this is a beautiful representation of the Khikuri. The blade is razor sharp and it also includes the small skinning knife and sharpener/spark striker knives. The sheath is wooden wrapped in leather and has a spot for all 3 peices in it. The handle is durable and looks great with the brass end cap. The Khukiri is easily removed from the sheath but the sheath is tight enough to keep it seated without bouncing around while walking.
