All for the Game
I love the All for the Game trilogy and the sequel series has started off just as promising. Jean is a very sympathetic and sad character, i’m intrigued to see where things go from here.

Another aftg book to re read every year because I love these idiots
6 years I’ve had this series, 6 times I’ve re read it. This is a tradition I think I’ll keep.I grieve their losses, cheer for their hopes and laugh at their humour. This boy makes my heart ache and I’m glad he has a universe where he lives and can experience a cool evening breeze, rainbows, open roads and friends 😖❤️

A brilliant return to AFTG
This was an incredible return to the AFTG universe. It was heartbreaking and painful and beautiful and joyful. Nora is an incredible writer and seeing these characters interact was incredible. I absolutely loved every page of this, and I cannot wait for the second book.

[Sighs] A treat received in the most painful and satisfying ways
Not sure where to start other than to say - what a treat. An unexpected one. Even though I have been a fan of AFTG series for a few years, I haven’t been obsessively checking for updates from Nora Sakavic because truthfully I did not expect another book. So when I realised book 4 was released I must have screamed with excitement. As expected, Jean’s story was as painful, if not more painful as Neil or Andrew’s. Without revealing the plot, there were many times during the book that I thought not only ‘how did he have such strength to go on’, but I was reminded about so many of other Nora’s characters who seem to have almost otherworldly strength to ‘endure, endure, endure’.The continuation was more than fantastic. Heart and chest clenching good. Classic Sakavic feels, tormented me almost beyond my own endurance levels to be able to imagine the events. So much so that it’s no wonder it took the author years since the last book to find the bravery to write this story. It’s got to take its toll and for that - we salute you Nora Sakavic.Congratulations on another fantastic and memorable novel. Goes into the very special list of books that left me gasping.

Satisfyingly emotional but little plot
The Jean Moreau novella we were all waiting for delivers on a lot the emotional notes and it's fun to see some of the characters and events from the main trilogy from an outsiders point of view. Very character-driven, like the best kind of 'no plot only vibes' fanfic. Glad that the author didn't go complete fan service; the ending gives Jean a lot of progress with his character arc and leaves him in sight of a better future but with the details of that future still open.

Absolutely Devastating.
I read the first three All For The Game books so I was preparing myself for the inevitable emotional distress this book would put me in but dear God I was not prepared. To put it simply this book was beautiful, it was so interesting to be inside Jeans mind, it was also interesting to learn more about the Ravens, as sad as it was. Jean's internal thoughts are truly heart breaking but the ending of the book left me hopeful to see where his journey goes after this. I felt like this book expanded so much on certain characters like Jean and Jeremy of course, but Renee, The Trojans and even Neil were shown in a new light and I loved it. It was a refresher after only seeing things from Neil's' perspective (not that I didn't enjoy his perspective, that boy is my child at this point I'm so attached) but to see these characters perceived by someone else was nice.I adore the Trojans, I haven't forgiven Lucas yet but I have a feeling he will redeem himself. Cat was one of my favourites and I cant wait to find out more about her, I also cant wait to hear more about Jeremy his family life, what he went through with them and most importantly his future relationship with Jean, I cant wait to see where these two go, I've got a feeling their going be adorable. I cannot wait to see Jean blossom with Trojans because God knows that boy needs a bit of sunshine. All in all this was a brilliant book and an excellent reintroduction to the AFTG universe and I will be eagerly awaiting the next book.

A return to the AFTG universe
I have loved the AFTG series for years, and finding out that we were getting a sequel about our sweet French boy has had me excited for weeks. This is the hurt/comfort sequel Jean Moreau deserves, and Jeremy is every bit the supportive babe we all knew he would be. I love the developing dynamic between them and their extended friend group. Catalina was an unexpected favourite for me, and I'm so happy to see the girls played important roles in this story.Nora's writing remains as engaging as always, and I was able to read this in one go on the evening it was released. I love the way Nora writes characters and the inherent sassiness that some of them have. Neil's mouth remains a problem for everyone, and judging my Jean referring to him as a "tedious malcontent", it's very possible Jean may not be far behind once he's stretched his wings out a bit more.I can't wait for more in this universe as there's still so much further for Jean to grow, and I know Jeremy's personal story is also going to be such fun. Most importantly, I'm waiting for the Fox and Trojan support group that needs to form around taking in damaged children and being consistently horrified by what they say. Neil and Jean should start a trauma bonding group, they're such wonderful little oddities, in different ways but still so distressing for everyone around them who hears all the unhinged things they say as if it's normal. As a final note on what makes this book great, Nora continues to deliver on diversity galore. I loved the original trilogy for it, and Nora did not fail to deliver again on one of the best aspects of the original trilogy. There's diversity of gender, sexuality, and ethnicity and it's all treated so normally within the Trojans team which makes for such a lovely read.Already desperate for the next book (god I hope there is one). Thank you again Nora for coming back to explore this universe, it was everything I had hoped for.
