I usually buy the Napoli blend from Kimbo, which has both robusta and arabica beans. I haven't been able to find it anywhere lately, so I decided to try this Capri blend. The coffee's good, smooth and not bitter, typical of all other Kimbo blends I've tried over the years. It tastes like a typical Italian espresso. My main complaint is that Kimbo has chosen not to disclose what kind of beans go into this particular blend, which is unacceptable to me. I like to know what I'm drinking and where the beans were sourced from. Also, the expiration date is June 1, 2025, which is less than 5 months away. While the coffee has technically not expired, the batch I was sent can be considered older stock as there are other companies that ship Kimbo coffee that expires in 2026. I'll avoid this particular seller from now on. Bottom line: Kimbo Capri is good coffee, but comes with insufficient information on the beans used, and you might get coffee that's almost expired depending on which seller you choose.

I failed to read carefully and the “pods” are not “K-cup pods”! But…when placed in my espresso machine’s “single serve” porta-filter strainer basket make a wonderful coffee! My mistaken expectation is redeemed!
