Great leg exercise machine
I love my elliptical, very smooth motion, fits nicely under a desk but I moved it into my bedroom, very low noise level, came assembled only thing to attach is the cord. Very easy assembly, and great workout quality. I love it. Variations of speed and also has a manual option as well.

I love it
I looked at so many options before I ordered this Merach stepper elliptical machine and I'm thrilled with it! I wanted something basic yet effective, super quiet, easy to operate and lightweight. I got everything but the lightweight part, but thats subjective. For an old lady, this is not easy to lift and tote around, but it's possible (easier if you have sled dogs you can tie it to). I think I'll leave it where it landed cuz I use it there. The stepper has a remote control to run it but I've also discovered a certain channel put in my TV remote will turn the machine on too -- surprise!! That's kind of weird, especially because the machine remote has to be pointed directly at it to work. So the remote works fine and is easy to use or you can reach down and use the controls between your feet. There are different speeds and you can go forward and backward. The movement is smooth and very quiet, which are both important to me. Two other things I like about this: it doesn't have to be electrically powered to move but also works on human effort (and it requires real effort either forward or backward), and it has resistance handpulls that can be attached to both sides to work your arms too. This part is only through human efforts, so put your back into it and get a more thorough workout. This is a great product except for two things I don't like but never considered before buying. One is the darn plug cord is way too short!!! Like my new coffee maker, you're required to plug it into the most inconvenient spot available and that is super annoying! So mine is on an extension cord, but I don't appreciate the company being too cheap and lazy to make the plug humanely. The other thing is not just for this stepper elliptical but probably all of them. Never was height or angle talked about. You need to position this properly but you also have to be positioned properly. If you're vertically-challenged (uh, short) like many of us are, this is not as easy as it seems. The height is not adjustable, nor is mine, so I have to find the right chair and position and distance the machine according to my needs. Turns out that's a lot of work and effort so I was able to put off my workout that day. But make sure you consider ahead of purchase where the tiny plug can go and how you can reach it comfortably. The machine does come with a piece of nonslip stuff that's often used as shelf liner to keep your dishes from sliding. I haven’t used it because I put the machine on carpet and it sticks like glue. I can't even push it much so it's very stable here. I can't say about that small square of rubber shelf liner stuff. This review is honest based on my use, perceptions and flights of fancy, and I hope it helped you decide whatever or at least gave you more questions to help you make your excellent choice. Just because I'm happy with this purchase doesn't mean it's right for you -- do your due diligence and then buy it, lol!! Get moving and you might feel better!BTW, if your knees are iffy, start slow for just a minute or two several times a day and you can build up to more without causing pain. That worked for me!

Shuts off after 15 mins
Great machine. Although it’s quiet but not silent. The machine shuts off after 15 minutes and I don’t like that part it at all, but honestly this is the ONLY downfall.

Highly recommended!
This will be long. I am a 78-year-old overweight female with very bad arthritic knees. I purchased the Merach under-desk elliptical to help my knees and to try to lose a little weight. It’s been 3 days since I received it. Shipping was fast.SETTING UP: The hardest part was getting it out of the well-packaged box. There were no missing pieces. DO read the instruction manual first. (1) Plug the power cord in; (2) Install the included batteries in the remote; (3) Place the non-slip mat on your floor and put the elliptical on top of it. I did install the foot straps but found that I don’t need them so removed them. I haven't used the lubricant (no creaking noises). I am not (yet) using the arm resistance bands. It weighs around 10-15 lbs so I can move it around even with a hiatal hernia.USING THE ELLIPTICAL: I followed the directions. Turned on the power button; set the speed first to 1 and then bumped it up to 6, all on Manual Mode. I relaxed and let the pedals move my feet/legs for me. The elliptical will run on Manual for 15 minutes and then it automatically powers off.During each 15-minute period at speed 6, I burned around 50 calories. In these first 3 days, I’ve used it in 4 fifteen minute increments (total one hour and around one mile) and I do believe that my legs have received a good workout. I plan on increasing the speed and the number of times I use the machine weekly as my body gets used to the exercise.ISSUES and QUESTIONS: (1) Where, how, and when do you use the lubricant? (2) Be advised the speed is shown in meters, not miles so you need to be able to convert meters if you are in the U.S. and don’t know how far a meter is in feet/miles (like me - I ask Siri). (3) I do not understand what the Counter - “shows the current exercise cycle” Light means and can’t find an answer to that question in the Manual or on the Merach web page. Irritating but not a deal breaker. (4) It fits under my desk which holds my computer, but when activated, my knees hit the top of my desk. I can’t elevate my desk or lower my chair. My current solution is to push my chair far enough back from my desk so my knees can move freely. This causes me to lean forward to reach my computer keyboard (bothersome for my back). I am trying different-sized pillows behind my back to relieve the strain.OPINION: So far I LOVE the Merach Under Desk Elliptical. Even with the few issues mentioned, I believe it’s worth every penny since it’s helping to exercise my knees/legs and lose calories. I researched MANY under desk ellipticals before deciding on the Merach. It’s a solid machine and the company has a good reputation. It is made in China (they all are) but again, that’s not a deal breaker for me. IF I start having problems with it and/or it breaks down in a couple of months, I will come back with an Update.RECOMMENDED? Yes, highly.

Good Value!
Quiet and well made. Got this for a senior. The weight, the smoothness of the movement and the mat that comes with it makes for a great experience for the user. Great elliptical for the money.
