I have been wanting to learn more about the technical side behind LLMS and how to build real world applications! This book is an amazing resource for that! I really recommend this read for anyone looking to enhance their skills into the world of AI! Super accessible and clear!

A must read for anyone wanting to expand their knowledge in LLMs

Excellent thorough guide on how to leverage LLMs and build AI applications.

I was lucky enough to read an early review version of this book. Louis is extremely well-recognised in the field and he really breaks down how to work with LLMs in a production setting with lots of practical advice. It's a bit like the wild west right now with LLMs as we figure out how to add software engineering rigour and this book couldn't have come at a better time.

I think the authors have the right idea - the content they try to cover is sensible and the extensive code examples are useful. However, I found the writing style disjointed and hard to follow, with simple concepts explained using unclear language. It also feels like the content does not fit together well - for example, langchain used extensively before the chapter in which it's introduced, and there isn't much consistency between chapters. In some ways it reads more like stuck-together blog posts than a £40 book.

This book has been extremely helpful in building a better understanding of the current landscape and get some practical insights into building LLM apps
