Beautiful set of chess men
These are large chess men that look and feel like hand carved from wood. They are gorgeous. When not in use they are an added on display in the den. Love them.

One Step Above The Basics
They are fairly heavy pieces, and you get a satisfying thunk when you move them. They look good, but I wouldn't classify them as a high-end finish. The lacquer is sprayed on a bit rough, and the cuts are a bit rough. However, they look good, and they are a good price as well. They are a great upgrade to a portable set with a roll-up board.
