This feeder has made chicken keeping so much easier. It keeps the feed dry and clean, and there’s way less waste now compared to open feeders. The chickens figured it out quickly and had no trouble using it. Build quality feels solid, and it holds a good amount of feed. Definitely a good buy for anyone looking to simplify their setup.

This feeder works great, six week old chickens easily adjusted to the new style feeder. I do go out and shake down the feed every few days, however, you probably don’t have to. You do have to be careful not to cut yourself while putting it together, but after assembled all sharp pieces are covered. Feed stay dry and a lot less spillage than with open feeders.

Love the ability to block or open ports. Slightly annoying it’s not as moisture proof as some others but it was worth the price. Easy to put together and install. Stands well even on uneven ground. Holds a TON of food but I would avoid too much in case of moisture- can cause mold.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this feeder for the volume in hopes that I could add enough feed to last two weeks.Functionality:It seems to work well but was advertised to "avoid waste" but is no better than other feedersFeed capacity:I like that I can drop 100# of feed in itHere's the only concern - this is my third similar-type feeder. The assembly directions are terrible, I can only assume some poor and incomplete interpretation from Chinese. After 45 minutes of assembly I was sure I'd have to return it as the holes were drilled in the wrong locations. However, the critical thing to remember is nothing is square in this feeder. Don't try to make right angles. The other very confusing thing is that the lid and body are angled, likely for rain runoff which is good. By why are they angled toward the feeding ports? Doesn't angling so water drains away from the food make more sense? It is good that the bottom try is angled toward the food ports, but the "roof" should be angled away.I'll see how it works, but the assembly instructions were garbage. It isn't intuitive, but don't try to line things up as everything is angled.

Easy to assemble and looks nice. Time will tell if it lasts. Made feeding chickens more manageable.

I wanted a feeder to put inside my coop that avoided waste. This feeder met all of my needs. Easy to assemble.
