Untamed Spirits: Horses From Around the World Hardcover – August 6, 2024

I loved the book and purchased it as a gift for a 8-year-old child who dearly loves horses. Much of the text will be outside of her interests, but she will love, love, love the gorgeous pictures of horses.On a less happy note, the (hard) cover of the book was dented during shipping. The divot in the packaging matched the small dent in the cover. Since this coffee table book is for a 8-year-old who doesn't own a coffee table and is unlikely to wash her hands before touching it, I didn't think the dent would diminish the value of the book for her. For an adult who wishes to use it for display, it may have been an issue.

For those of us in the horse world (including family and friends) this collection of photographs will have you smiling in delight as turn the pages. I only wish all horses could enjoy these freedoms.

And I like his writing.
