Really cheap cover - it fits, but doesn't look good
First off, calling this "boucle" is a real stretch. It's some kid of polyester that pills and sheds everywhere, immediately. The edges are not well sewn, either. Based on the price, you knew this was coming. The kit came with a ton of flimsy velcro adhesive strips - NO WAY am I sticking those to my $400 Varier chair. The fabric cover so fit on the chair pads without the velcro, but you can see it looks pretty bad. If you need it to cover a stain or bleach spot or something more egregious, fine, but you'd be better off spending the money on a cleaning solution or a better quality cover.

A soft visual upgrade for worn kneeling chairs—fits Varier too
I used this on my Varier Variable Balans Original Kneeling Chair, not the Austin model it was designed for, and it fit just fine. My chair is five years old and starting to look tired, so this cover gave it a much-needed refresh.FIT & COMPATIBILITYAlthough it’s marketed for the Austin kneeling chair, it fit my Varier like a glove. The shape and seam placements matched the contours well, even though this cover isn’t made with stretchy fabric. Instead, it relies on precise tailoring and a Velcro-based attachment system to stay in place.INSTALLATION EXPERIENCEAttaching it took more effort than I expected. One side of the Velcro (the soft loop side) is pre-sewn into the cover, and you’re meant to attach the hook side directly to your chair using the provided adhesive. I recommend connecting the Velcro strips first before peeling the sticky backing, so they align properly. That said, I found this system to be more work than it’s worth. A stretchy band or even simple ties would have made setup far easier.LOOK & FEELThe color is definitely white but not blue-white more yellow-white. The boucle fabric has a nice visual texture, but it’s not especially full or plush. It’s sturdy and does the job, but the loops are a little patchy in places—not what I’d call thick or luxurious. Still, it brings a much more modern look to the chair, and the white color helps brighten up the space. I did notice a little shedding (tiny yarn fibers), but not enough to be bothersome.WHAT IS BOUCLE FABRIC?Boucle (pronounced boo-clay) is a looped yarn fabric known for its nubby, textured look. It’s trendy in modern furniture for adding a cozy, tactile feel. However, it can vary in density and may shed a bit. This version feels more decorative than indulgent—stylish, but not plush.⸻Pros• Fits non-Austin chairs like the Varier• Freshens up worn chairs with modern style• Soft boucle texture adds visual interest• Velcro strips already attached to cover• Good value for a full-seat refreshCons− Velcro setup is overly complicated− Boucle fabric is patchy, not thick or full− Some minor fabric shedding− No stretch—fit relies on close sizing matchPhotos show the fit on a Varier chair.

Tacky toweling not luxurious fleece
Not worth more than $5.00. Poor workmanship, loose threads, and thin fabric.
