Love, love, love it! Note to seller; I’d gladly pay more for a version with a rechargeable battery inside. The cord to USB is nice, but it’s a bit cluttered and limits where to display it. And replacing AA batteries is annoying. Thanks!

The power cord is a proprietary combination, not your normal USB to USB power cord. The cord ends at one end in a standard USB-A plug, and at the snow globe, the other end is a coaxial mini plug. The cord is just over 3 feet in length. So you have to keep it within 3 feet of an outlet (you can't swap out the cord for a longer one unless you happen to have one with the coax ending).The snow globe is heavy -- over 3 pounds, and while it does have a ring at the top for hanging it, it's a lot heavier than an average picture, so you'll have to use a plant hanging fixture if you want to hang this thing.The system is either "on" -- meaning lights on and sparkles flying -- or it's "off. Which means you can't run the motor that stirs up the sparkles with the light off, and you can't have the light on without stirring up the sparkles, too. It does have a "Timed" switch position, where it will be on for 6 hours, then turn off, then turn back on after being off for 18 hours. There's no adjustment available for this timed cycle. Oh, yeah. You can insert 2 AA batteries and do away with the cord, but I have no idea how long the batteries will last.And one last thing -- there is NO music function with this snow globe like a lot of them out there.The dolphins are cute, it seems well made, and it will make a nice display in our "Aqua" spare bedroom.

Got it for my kids as a gift. She is totally mersmerised with it. Her friends who come for play dates always play with these. Fun for kiddos
