The pot came in a plastic bag that was tired with a rubber band without a box. It seems like this was used by a different person and I want a new and unused product in its original box.

This pot is not lightweight junk, but it is not quite heavyweight premium grade cookware. The top handle is bolted on with hardware store grade bolts. I like the steamer basket a lot. The pierced sheet metal style allows cooking peas, macaroni, and such things as would not be held in an open basket. The basket sits flat on bottom of the pot so your asparagus would cook with the bottom inch boiled, while the tops would steam. I bought a trivet that raises the basket up an inch for asparagus. The basket has a spur to allow hanging it halfway up the pot and this feature means a smaller basket in your pot, so this steamer is best for cooking for two persons at most. This steamer is not as tall as many others, so if the basket is up an inch on a trivet, then you are almost a bit short trying to cook long asparagus. Compact size utility steamer.
