Really soft plastic and seem to be effective
I got these bracelets for a cruise but also took some anti-nausea medication at the same time so I didn't know how well they worked.I just returned from a rail and Coach vacation and used the bracelets while on the buses and ferries and they worked very well.Also, the bracelets are a soft rubbery material instead of hard plastic and very comfortable. I didn't even know they were on.

don’t bother!
acupressure works for me typically. i normally just use my hands but sorry but these are garbage. they don’t work. i had a hard time getting the bracelet on by myself so it was uncomfortable. they’re far too long for me and i didn’t quite understand how it was meant to work. so obviously no relief from nausea for me.

Can't say they wouldn't work for everyone but they did not work for my pregnant daughter and friend. Seem well made.
