At their usefulness, there's not much difference between these and silicone. Except for the obviously better durability for these, while better flexibility for the silicone ones.I would personally prefer and recommend these, but I can understand, that it's the matter of personal taste at the end.

This 7 piece wooden spoon set is just excellent. The quality is just top of the range. Each spoon comes individually wrapped, they are lightweight and easy to use. There is some care needed for these spoons but i think it is well worth it given that they are non toxic. Beautiful set!

These spoons are lightweight and very comfortable to hold. They don't scratch the non stick cookware as they don't have any sharp edges. All of them came individually wrapped in named brown wrapping paper. There was also a sachet of wax to maintain the spoons.Dishwasher washing is not recommended, but these spoons are a pleasure to wash by hand. I would definitely recommend it.

Recently I tried a couple of wooden utensils and after being so impressed with them decided I should look out for a proper set.The main reason for opting for wooden utensils is so that they don't scratch any non-stick pans. These are well made and I love the acacia wood which is of a high quality. They have a nice weight to them and are good to hold. They take a bit more looking after than regular ones, but I think the additional time is more than worth it. They also arrive individually wrapped, so that they won't get damaged in transit which is great to see. I do love these, but the finish isn't perfect on the slotted ones, so they needed a bit of sanding between the slots, otherwise these would be a solid 5 stars.

The utensils also have a plant based coating which is free of mineral oil or lacquers. They are also quite aesthetically pleasing as well as functional.It is best to clean the utensils by hand rather than in the dishwasher, and you should also prevent them from soaking in water for extended periods of time to avoid damage to the wood. Priced at £27.50 at the time of reviewing, this set of wooden kitchen utensils is good value for money and I would definitely recommend them as the set covers a good range of cooking applications of both hot and cold foods. With a bit of care these should last for ages.

These arrived with each implement individually wrapped and labelled, they feel very robust and also come with some bees wax to treat them intermittently. I've only used a handful of them so far but they seem to be really good and vastly superior to metal and silicon implements.
