Makes a mean sausage and egg McMuffin substitute!
Gives McDonalds a run for their money.Reading the instructioins for the first time it may seem complex. However, do it with the sandwich maker in front of you and it all makes perfect sense. Just be aware that meat has to be cooked first, the sandwich maker won't cook your burger for you. Having said that, throw a small burger or two into a frying pan as the sandwich maker is heating up then 5-mins later you have a wonderful McMuffin substitute.

Delicious!
Cooked sausage egg muffins for the family this morning! And enjoyed by all, as it states you have to cook the meat filling before, but it cooks the egg in the stack. Also the stack works better with the cheese below the sausage burger but.Minimal dribble from the egg as there is no seal between the shelf and the sides. All I can say is I and my family have enjoyed it :-)

Works brilliantly excellent non stick
Made a breakfast muffin with ham, cheese and an egg. Cooked in 6 mins. Didn't bother to grease it and it didn't stick the egg didn't stick. Came out no problem and very tasty, well worth the money highly recommend

Looked good but!
Tried it, but the plates get very hot and are very fiddly. You have to use it on a tray as well because the fats, grease, cheese etc melts and covers your work top.the egg got stuck to plates after following the instructions, not suitable for anyone who is not aware for their capabilities (elderly, youngsters, children).

creates really nice tasting eggs
This product comes in a cardboard box. Inside the box, you’ll find the product itself and a very small instruction booklet. As of reviewing, it is priced at £23.99. I think this is a good price, but the instructions could be clearer. When you first take this breakfast muffin maker out of the box, it feels like the bits are moving in different directions. However, after using it, you notice that is the whole point, as parts need to move out of the way of other parts.I would say immediately that if you are using this, make sure to wear oven gloves or a tea towel, as some parts of the product get hot quickly. Before I started, I sprayed the surface of the part where you cook the egg with a bit of oil; I then placed half a muffin on the bottom plate, closed it, and cracked an egg into the middle plate - you need to make sure that the bottom of the egg part is shut fully. You then close the top plate and put half of a breakfast muffin in there, too. After waiting around 4-5 minutes, the egg was ready, and it was really nice. You can’t taste any oil, and it is like a cross between a fried egg and a poached egg, but it tastes better and is healthier than a fried egg.The product claims to be able to make lots of other things, such as pizzas, but it doesn’t actually give you any recipes, so a bit of experimentation is necessary. This will become a device that we use every weekend rather than buying takeaway versions of muffins.I recommend this product.

Makes me the muffin man
I’d not used a muffin maker before this, but the principle is simple enough. It’s essentially a toastie maker, but a different shape, and with an additional heated plate for cooking an egg. Once you learn how to use it (from the OK-but-not-the-clearest instructions, which spend more time on the health and safety warnings than on telling you how to use it), it’s extremely intuitive. It doesn’t take a lot of preparation, and if you already have the ingredients to hand, it’s very quick to get it together- you don’t have to have decided an hour in advance that you want a breakfast muffin, provided your bacon is already cooked (it won’t cook the meat for you), or you’re willing to use cooked ham, or no meat at all. Cheese needs to be fairly thinly sliced in order to get that familiar melted texture, but apart from that, you can pretty much just bung anything in.The size is good for standard supermarket-bought muffin packs, with a bit of room to spare for some generous filling. While the product heading does also say ‘toastie maker’, it assumes that it’s working with a muffin-shaped meal, not the square shape of shop-bought bread. But this has given me the excuse to buy some more milk roll, which I’ve always had a soft spot for, and that works well too.I wouldn’t describe it as safe for my kids to use, because a large number of the device’s surfaces get hot, and the fact they’re hot isn’t always clearly indicated. A careless attempt to move a part or lift a bit of melted cheese off a plate could easily result in a burn. This is definitely one to warn our kids to stay well clear of.Once it’s cooled though, it is very easy to clean. The egg is the only item that can make much mess, but the non-stick plates make it easy to just wipe off the mess with a cloth once it’s no longer warm. Everything opens up to make every part easily accessible at cleaning time.I gave up on McDonald’s years ago for health reasons, but occasionally I do miss their McMuffins. Now, thanks to this device, I can make a better-tasting version for myself at home much more easily (and more healthily too). At twenty-four quid at the time of writing, this device only costs the equivalent of a few McMuffins, and if you’re partial to an egg and bacon bap for breakfast (or lunch or dinner) it might not be long before it pays for itself.
