I have purchased similar products in the past with the suction cups. However, the other products always required you to stick the suction cup item to your phone case using a sticker backing. This was a huge downside because if you like to charge your phone using a magnet charger you would then have to take your case off to charge your phone. This newer design allows you to get the functionality of the suction cups without sacrificing your charging or ruining your case with a sticky mess. I also love that I can keep the item suctioned to a surface (in my case my bathroom mirror) and just attach my phone when needed using the magnet. The only downside is that the suction cups are stronger than the magnet. When you remove your phone from a surface, it simply disconnects from the magnet and you have to peel the suction cups off the surface and then reattach it to your phone. This is not a big deal and might even be a positive for some people. However, my teenage daughter informed me that the most "satisfying" part of having the suction cups is being able to stick it to your desk or other surface and peel the suction cups off one at a time when you lift your phone. My advice to her was to remove her phone from the magnet and then take pleasure in peeling the suction cup thing off the table :).

i love this thing! i don’t like the regular octobuddy cause it fell and cracked my phone. this is perfect tho. it works super well. i can take it off to use my magsafe mount in the car. and when i am using it, it’s really strong and sticky and holds the weight of my phone.

Cute color and the magnetic part works very well! The suction cup lost a little bit of suction as time goes on, but I think that's normal. Also, whenever you take your phone off the surface you stick it to, be aware that the octobuddy part will stay on that surface, and you have to remove it and then put it back on your phone, which is a little annoying, overall a great product though!

It worked well initially, but the adhesive came undone after three months. I tried to contact customer service, but no one answered.Edit:I worked with customer service, and they sent me another one very quickly. The new one is sturdy so far.

The question to ask yourself is... How heavy is your phone? I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max with an OtterBox Defender Series XT Case. This combination is too heavy. It would remain stuck to a Mirror for maybe two minutes but even in that time, it was slipping slowly down the mirror. The product itself seemed to be good quality and well make. It just could not handle the weight in my case, so I had to return it.Also when you are testing the product think about where you are testing it and what it will fall on to. My phone is falling all the time, but usually on to the floor. While testing this on a bathroom mirror, it fell off onto a tap. I consider myself lucky on this occasion, as it was only the screen protector that got a little damage. Perhaps the first few times you use it in similar locations, it is worth putting a towel below, so your phone gets a soft landing.I wish I searched the reviews for iPhone 16 Pro Max before I purchased this as there is already a review that states it is not suitable for this phone.

Okay so this thing is AWESOME!!! Especially for the price. I was nervous for it being a magnet bc it might not be as secure, but man that thing stays on ur phone so no need to worry about it falling unless the suction isn’t tight. I like how if you don’t want it on ur phone all the time you can take it off and put it in ur purse. Love this. Totally worth it!

I loved my original occtobuddy but wanted to be able to used my wireless car charger and needed to be able to remove it when necessary. when I cam across this I knew I needed it. I love that it is mag safe compatible and really hold the phone up when using. It does add some weight and is chunky so I find myself taking it off at work or out and about but still like to use it when needed. It also doubles as a fidget toy as I am constantly playing with it.
