I purchased this fireplace blower on the recommendation of a neighbor and am really glad I did. It was a great price and really enhances the whole fireplace experience. The blower arrived quickly and has everything needed for installation which was very easy. The blower is very effective and really moves the heated air well. I have recommended this blower to two other neighbors and one has already ordered. I saw the earlier review stating the blower is noisy. This is true when on high but not so noisy as to interfere with hearing the TV or having conversations. I did install the blower speed switch next to the fireplace turn on switch on the wall so I can adjust the speed. Thus as needed I can easily lower the speed once the room is warmed and reduce the noise level of the blower. I recommend this product.

Very easy to install, if you have an AC outlet under your fireplace. Speed control lets you slow the fan to achieve quiet operation. Airflow behind chamber moves heat into the room, and limits heat stress on the painted components. Thermostat runs the fan when the back gets hot, so operation is automatic.

This was a low cost and terrific improvement for our gas fireplace. I showed it to my neighbor and he ordered the same unit and has the same opinion as I. Great product.

Everything you need to replace your fireplace blower fan. I didn't end up using the heat sensor and other ancillary parts since they weren't needed for my fireplace. Fan is much smaller than the probably 30-year-old blower in our masonry and steel unit, but it's almost dead silent compared to the clanky unit with the bent squirrel cage. Doesn't move as much air, but I don't see that as a problem since it's just meant to circulate some of the heat. Worst case, I can add another unit.

I didn't use the speed controller, but temperature control fan switch works well. Quiet and easy to install.
