Wonderful in Green Tea
I put this is my tea and it gives it a great taste if you balance it out with the correct amount of sweetener. I am still working out the exact measurements, and enjoy doing it, but have found that about 1 teaspoon for 64 ounces of tea works and 1/2 cup of honey. This works with a Gunpowder Green Tea, which is bitter to begin with so if your tea is sweeter I don't think as much honey would be needed. When you get the right combination of sweetener and Ginseng the taste is euphoric. Like everybody says, it is bitter but at least in teas it is wonderful. I've never tried any other brand so I don't know if there is any difference, but I don't think I'll go experimenting with others because I really like this stuff. As for the health benefits? I don't know about those. I'm too old to experience any of those I think (ha/ha). Or, maybe I don't use enough. But, I continue to increase the amount of Ginseng as my palate warms to the taste and desires more. Perhaps I will soon be adding enough to feel health benefits (I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be feeling anyway).Oh, in case you are wondering what this stuff looks like. It comes in the form of a fine white powder. So, I'm sure it could be capsuled if you wanted. I just stick a spoon in the bag and level it off by tapping it off on the side of the bag. But I accidentally made a quick jerking motion with my arm and with the sudden movement of the bag a puff of a grabbed some of the Ginseng powder out of the bag. It puffed out like a smoke.

Does it’s job well but you can still taste it
Positive: dissolves easily with hot drinks and does its jobNegative: you can still taste it which is a little pungentI like to put ginseng in my morning coffee but with this product I can taste the powdered product which I don’t like. I still do it tho.

Pure and well...pure
I have been using a popular Ginseng in a green bottle for the past year. On a whim I decided to change brands but most have hokey advertising that turned me off. This is much different being in bulk, I liked the advertised purity and potency. The powder is very bitter so I bought a bag of 0 size gelatin capsules and make my own dose for breakfast and dinner. The listed dose is 240mg so i fill the capsule completely. Compared to the old ginseng which I feel I built a tolerance to, this one provides more energy and clearheadedness. I feel more "on".NOTE: I find that a drink or two the night before can blur the effects of ginseng the next day.

Great ginseng
This Panax Ginseng powder did give me lots of energy. Not jittery energy that you get from coffee, but more of a sustained focused energy. It's affordable for anyone on a budget. The only complaint that I have is that it tastes terrible. It has a very strong bitter root like flavor. Nothing masks the flavor.

I will purchase again!
My initial ginseng purchase was of regular at >5% Ginsenosides. 1/2 teaspoon 2 times daily. I noticed a positive difference & decided to continue my use with another purchase. As I browsed I came across this product. It gave a 10% Ginsenocides rating & recommended 1/8 teaspoon twice daily. This was the only similar product with this high of a rating. In comparison, if I got equal or better results using the dosage prescribed I would be money ahead by buying this. So I ordered 1 bag.My results were better than expected. Better than the regular first bag. And a better value. If you use ginseng as a supplement I highly recommend this product. I will be buying again very soon.Delivery, packaging & quality results all top notch.

BEWARE- Poisonous Powder
I used this extremely bitter, foul-tasting “ginseng” for 5 days. During which, I had fatigue, diarrhea, brain fog, etc. That was 07/2023, and I have yet to have a well-formed stool to this date (02/23/2024). My GI health is yet to recover from NuSci’s rat poison that they call ginseng. To top off my experience with this product, NuSci gave me a hard time with the refund, so I had to go through Amazon Customer Service to force their compliance.Ever since, I’ve used MicroIngredients Organic Ginseng Extract: it isn’t nearly as bitter, and does what ginseng is meant to do because it is not contaminated.

My first experience with pure powder
I used to get those packets with sweetened ginseng for making what I think was referred to as ginseng tea. Those were yummy and I thought I got energy from them, like a black tea. But maybe I just imagined it. I had hoped the same with this, but now, more mature, experienced and observant, I feel no energy boost at all. But maybe that's just a myth.PROS & CONS:1) This is exactly as advertised. To make a yummy and presumably healthful cold weather drink, I use the recommended 1/8 teaspoon in a tea cup with coconut sugar and a couple drops of vanilla extract. Quite rich. I also have used a roasted grain beverage mix for a unique rich hot drink. It dissolves well if you are quick to vigorously mix (I use a fork) and if not it clumps.2) While I don't notice energy, since drinking one to times a day, after a couple of weeks, with the weather getting quite cold, I've noticed a clear increase in my resistance. In other words, the "yang" effect is indisputable, I am able to generate body heat, presumably with greater surface blood circulation, than I have in years. I am also not wanted an after-lunch nap even though I get insufficient sleep most nights.3) The resealable bag. This is a common problem with powdered product with modern very fine zip-lock mechanisms. I have figured out that it is hard to reseal because product clogs the 'channel' in the sealing strip. My effective work-around is to flick my finger along the length of both sides of the zip-lock mechanism to flick-out any powder. You must be careful not to cause more to jump up from inside the bag. Done carefully it reseals again with ease!
