It’s embarrassing to say, but I have never owned a dough cutter/scraper until now. I have been separating my bread dough using a pizza cutter and knife for the past 10+ years. It was one of those things I kept meaning to buy but forgot once everything was done. Since I’m now baking more, I’ve been shamed into buying a ‘real’ dough cutter and the Vaincre deal seemed like a good quick upgrade not involving a ton of research. After all, two is always better than one, it had measurements etched on the blades, had decent reviews, AND all for under $10!I have to admit, I’ve found the dough cutter to be easy to use and more versatile than I originally thought. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now on loaf breads (naan, italian, sandwich and sourdough), a couple of cakes, and pizza dough. The length is OK and could be a bit larger for my taste, but it fits my hand and handles well enough. It is definitely easier to maneuver when it comes to sectioning yeast dough, scoring & braiding, lifting & shaping loaves, and scraping dough crumbs. The cuts have been consistently clean & sharp. It also has come in handy & is easier than using a silicone spatula for smoothing cake icing/frosting (especially on ice cream cakes). The blade itself is sharp, beveled, and rigid (almost but not as rigid as my pizza cutter) though I haven’t used it for chopping herbs yet. It’s not only easy to use but is easy to clean (dishwasher top rack, but I usually hand wash). The nicest feature is the etched measuring conversion guide/cheat sheet that I always need to reference. While the etched ruler measurements may not be accurate (per a reviewer) it is still useful in gauging approximate cut sizes at a glance. Overall, it’s a great deal for two (2) dough cutters at a great price! Keep both, give one away, or keep the other as a backup. This is well worth the purchase!

Very well-made, classic design is sturdy. These have a nice sharp edge and have bonus measurement tables printed on each one. The stainless steel is very easy to clean. My one gripe which drops these down a star is that the grips are a bit too thin, making extended use a bit of an issue for anyone with carpal tunnel/arthritis.
