13mm Competition Grade Lift Belt
Competition grade weight lifting belt. I purchased the 13mm thick option and can say it is the most robust belt I have owned to date. High quality leather with suede inner lining. Will take some time to wear in due to the thickness but perfect for them heavy dead lifting sessions. Item arrived next day perfectly packaged!

Break the belt in.
I got the 13mm belt. I’ve had thick belts before and the break In period can take weeks. After a quick YouTube search, quickly found out how to break the belt in.Basically bend it back and forth for around 10-15 minutes. I also rolled the belt up in the opposite direction to how you would put it on and then pushed my body weight on to it, forcing the belt to bend. It’s much softer and feels better to wear.

Good but needs to be shipped rolled up and not folded in two places
The belt does provide support to assist with bracing for lifts. Being new it is rather stiff and a bit more awkward to use. Especially passing the excess through the belt loop. The size is imprinted on the tongue of the beltTwo prongs are used to lock the fitting in place. They do their job. Just be aware belts with prongs and holes do not allow for a finer fit which lever and hook and loop fastening belts provide. As such the belt may be a fraction looser or tighter than needed. It really depends on the fit for the individual. Which is down to the frame of their waist area. Two imperfections were apparent upon inspection. I have circled these in my photo. One appears to be a scuff. The lower left issue could be a glue or a finishing substance which has stained and marked the area. Both issues do not effect performance. It would be far better for the belt to be packed and shipped rolled up. Instead it has been folded in two places. These folding creases cause an issue when fitting the belt. The level of the issue depends on the frame of the individual and the fitting of the belt against the body. The creases are prominent and the rest of the belt is stiff. I am surprised RDX has packaged the belt in this way.The build and structure appears to be sound. The quality of the cowhide used throughout is unknown. Other brands specify the type of leather used for the different layers of leather. The price seems reasonable at £42.99.

Uncomfortable to wear.
This is a incredibly stiff weight lifting belt, personally my experience with it wasn't so good, it was uncomfortable to wear. It's high-quality leather but it's just hard, tough and not pliable whatsoever.Even with wearing my gym gear, this belt over the top wasn't comfortable, god knows what it must feel like against bare skin.
