Perfect. Look no further
Perfect! My old plastic version literally fell apart. I like the solid metal design, handle grip, and open design so the cord doesn’t get doesn’t tangled while wrapping up. It’s not heavy and holds a heavy duty 100 ft cord with plenty of space left. It’s also a great value at $25. I looked in Home Depot and Lowe’s and nothing comes close.

Keeps wire organized.
I use this for long cables that may not need to be completely unrolled when in use. Simply pull 10 feet of cable through the side of the reel and use cable ties to attach the coiled cable to the outside of the reel . Then coil; the remaining cable on the spool. You unroll what you need and have a 10 foot "leader" for connect the other end to your equipment. I use this for ethercon cable.

Works OK
Wish the stand was made of heavier material. Feels flimsy, making it hard to roll of the cord.

Came apart
It’s an ok reel but the nut that hods the reel to the stand falls out quite frequently rendering it difficult to use. There’s very little clearance inside the hub so it’s hard to put the nut back on. I wouldn’t pay $20 for this. It’s pretty cheaply made in my opinion.

Easy to Use
This is the second one I have bought. So much easier than having loose cord to untangle and store.

Absolutely could not get this to make anything easier - it only made things harder
So - you've decided to get rid of the gas powered mowers and blowers and trimmers, but don't like the environmental impact or poor functionality - or expense - of battery operated equipment. So - go plug-in electric! And get a good method for dispensing and rolling the long cord back into position.This is not the device for that job. First of all - you have to lead a fairly long lead (3 ft or so) to get to the plug on your wall. THis means you've got a long cord flapping around when you reel the cord in after your job is complete. Terrible.If you want to pull the cord off the reel as you need it - this is not the device for you. It will fall over. It is very lightweight. So you have to pull the cord off and guess how much you'll need.There is no easy way to distribute the cord across the length of the reel so you don't get too much on one side or the other. You actually seriously need THREE HANDS to use this thing.For yard work, this is a horrible choice. Keep looking;

Held my 100 foot heavy extension cord.
I have this heavy pain if the ass yellow 100 foot extension cord that is a pain in the butt to roll up and store. I assembled this stand in a few seconds, the wheel comes in 2 sections that snap together. It easily would up the extension cord and holds the entire cord easily.
