First time using since we got the chairs , and away from home , I went to sit in the chair and both the Velcro ties at the top ripped out the cushion material . Husband laughed at my dilemmas, then went to sit down in his chair and the same thing happened , both his Velcro straps ripped away splitting the seams . So first job of our holiday away was to hand sew the straps back into the cushions . Not very good for the initial cost of the things , I would have expected a lot better quality for the cost of them . Can’t see them lasting very long into our retirement . I’d have given no stars but Amazon won’t go so low .

I bought this to give me a comfortable chair for the garden. It appears to be well made but for me personally I’m a bit disappointed . I am elderly and not very tall. I find it difficult to push against the bar to recline it. If I lean back my feet won’t reach the bar. I now partly recline the seat manually standing by the chair, straddle it partly reclined then push very very hard with my legs to fully recline, you need strong legs. The other thing to be aware of is this chair is heavy.If you are not old but fit, tall and strong you may like this chair. If like me you are not very tall and are elderly and not as strong as you were you may be disappointed.A

This chair is not easy to recline, infact near on impossible without assistance. Also the 2 red spinning things on each arm seem to serve no purpose what so ever!!!! Really dissatisfied as I purchased for my elderly dad to sit in and he can only recline it with assistance.....

Excellent quality, sturdy and well-made. Liked the sunshade too. Very suitable for from average to very large persons. I would have liked a choice of colours though. My male guests will greatly appreciate them. I would have preferred a plushier cushion but then the price would have been higher. Top marks for quality of chair and value for money. As I am very small I shall possibly buy for my own use a pretty, more lightweight garden recliner with a plushy cushion, but I am very happy with this purchase.
